In physics it is said some particles exhibits characteristics of both wave and a particle, but no proof has been shown they are both. It could easily just be our measurements are not proper to the situation or that what we call a wave or a particle is not a correct conclusion. Physics is very liquid in that sense; everything is subject to change.
