I'm a "details matter" kind of person. The truth is, the origin of the word "Hispanic" meant descendant of Spaniards. So saying "I'm not white, I'm Hispanic" is like saying "I'm not fat, I'm Stacey Abrams". LOL I don't like the left doing wordplay and changing the meanings of things. It's one way they lie and steal history. Being Hispanic literally means being a descendant of the people who brought many times more black slaves to the Americas than the English did.
