As part of Apple's iOS 18.4 update, iPhone users will have access to eight new emoji.
And there is one face that everyone is already saying will be their favourite.
The new emoji list includes some items that some iPhone users might find helpful including a harp, a shovel, a leafless tree and a root vegetable.
The update also includes a few stranger choices, such as the purple 'splatter', a bright blue fingerprint, and the flag of Sark – a small Channel Island with a population of just 500.
But it is the exhausted-looking 'face with bags under eyes' emoji that has Apple fans most excited.
On X one excited iPhone user wrote: 'I've never related to an emoji so much in my life'.
Another commenter wrote: 'I'm still saying that this will be the most used emoji of the year.'
'Definitely this emoji is going to take off,' one Apple user chimed in.
>>>
One enthusiastic commenter wrote: 'Harp emoji is going to change my life (and my friends being aware of my Guinness consumption) forever.'
'Updating my iPhone for the first time in 3 years to get the little Guinness harp emoji,' one commenter wrote.
Social media users also welcomed the arrival of the harp emoji, particularly for its similarity to the Guinness logo.

I don’t see any bags under the eyes.

What's the emoji for "I have no mental illness badly enough to care about smart phones?"
Imagine the first person that designed a hammer and nail? That technology brought humanity into a far better place than smart phones.
America is really just a free range prison run by a multitude of federal government agencies. Your smart phone is your ankle monitor. Your SNAP-Obamacare are your chow line and infirmary services. The prison gangs are now in zip codes. Your housing subsidies are your prison cells. There's no locks on the cell doors. They are not needed.

Maybe Emoji 16.0 release is a word-association puzzle.
The “sapped” face over the lifeless tree body really wants to kick things off.

The Shovel emoji can be used by government as a signal to bury evidence or to bury news stories -- without giving incriminating instructions to do so.

Apple emojis are lame. They'd be much better if animated, like website emojis were over twenty freakin years ago.

Also, anyone who uses the word "man card" on the internet should have to enter the octagon before they can open their virtual mouth again.

Great movie script.
When does filming start?

Snake Pliskin already did the pilot. Right down to being injected with a drug that kills you if you deviate from your terms of imprisonment in the new free range prison system. That's what Pfizer and Moderna are for.
Hollywood movie scripts are almost always 20 years ahead of time. Some like Idiocracy are hard to set a time frame on, but you know it when you see it in real life.
