I like option 3, the victim could have floored the Tesla, pushing the suspect vehicle down the road and over a cliff.

Joking aside, if you push another car out of the way I would expect some serious front end damage costing thousands. Also in the case of a Tesla I could see airbags deploying because of the high torque.
