Which is exactly my point — they should all be taxed. Just because some are small doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be taxed. If the same philosophy applied to business, small businesses wouldn’t be taxed at all. And taxing at 5% or less is ridiculous. If they are going to keep getting that low tax, then force some of the endowment towards reducing tuition costs.

My post was agreeing with you, and it was also pointing out when it is taxed and when it is not taxed. Those that are not taxed are running as 501C tax exempt institutions. Those are the ones you can threaten with revoking their 501C status, when they allow bad behavior to happen within their institutions.

So yes, my post would be a confirmation of your point. 🙂👍
