I'm sure the Russians aren't going to tolerate a military threat in Finland, either.

LOL, good luck dealing with a NATO country.

Its why Finland was smart to not trust its 50 year neutrality agreements with Russia, and quickly joined NATO.

If Trump doesn’t cut off the Ukraine and the odious Little Z-Man after all of this then Trump has NO BALLS.

Maybe it's just that "The Art of the Deal" doesn't translate very well into foreign tongues.

Or maybe Putin knows more about the state of U.S. military readiness than we do.

From a geopolitical perspective, maybe ordering a few B-2 bombers to Diego Garcia to attack a bunch of Houthi thugs in a nothing country doesn't exactly inspire awe of and respect in the U.S. military, from the likes of Putin.

Trump doesn’t want to fight with Putin as yet, but the question will be if he surges in military support in the end. Because that’s the only thing that will impress Putin.

Trump will do it if Putin refuses to agree to a ceasefire.

Finland and Russia got along well for decades before it's leaders sold out and decided to become an NATO/globalist colony.

NATO, the EU and globalist cabal are the equivalent of the old Soviet Union.

All one has to do is look at how elections were cancelled in Romania and the color revolutions that have been enacted to undermine democracy in multiple European nations to figure that out.

OR they got along well, until Finland realized its treaties with Russia, had the same value as the treaties Ukraine had with Russia.

Ukrainian toilet paper called: “Agreement with Russia”

The most alarming thing is that's Putin's comments strongly suggest that his commanders and the FSB are once again telling him nonsense, just like before the war started.

Putin has chosen to ride the tiger with such huge sunk costs going into the fourth year of the war that anything less than the capitulation of Ukraine might endanger his continued rule. His mafia captains in government and military have lost huge amounts of income from embezzlement and graft due to the war.

Trump's approach also seems to have encouraged Putin. Not only has Trump seen to publicly rebuke the Ukrainians, he seems to be splitting the US off from Europe, a process that prolonging the war might further, giving Putin yet more incentive to keep fighting.

If Trump wants the war to end he will have to provide greater pain to the Russians. The NYT report that the Ukrainian drone strike on Russian strategic aviation at Engels airbase was assisted by CIA may be a move in that direction. That strike supposedly destroyed 96 Russian cruise missiles.

The math is simple: if the Ukrainians keep killing Russian soldiers at greater than a 5:1 ratio, they win because Russia will simply run out of men.

Having been forced almost completely out of Kursk, the Ukrainians have entered Belgorod oblast and are methodically destroying road and rail bridges supplying Luhansk and Donetsk. They have made middling progress retaking territory from the Russian pincers around Pokrovsk and have retaken much of the town of Toretsk, which the Russians only captured after months of heavy fighting. Konstantineevka has been fortified with defensive lines twice as deep and strong as the defenses at Avdeevka.

Forcing the Russians to retake territory already gained at great cost makes it likely that the 5:1 ratio above will be exceeded.

Finland was leaving in peace with Russia FOR DECADES.

It's leaders agreed to be bought and paid for whores of NATO and the EU and NOW Finland's problems with Russia are just beginning.

It's NATO, the EU and Zeeper freaks like YOU that want a war with Russia. Russia simply wants to be left alone.

It's not Russia fomenting color revolutions and installing puppet governments in Mexico. But, we and NATO have done that in its backyard.

You're a war pig.

Finland was leaving in peace with Russia FOR DECADES.

Yes, and then Putin invaded Ukraine, violating countless number of treaties Russia signed with Ukraine, proving Putin could not be trusted. Actions have consequences.

Putin even broke the treaty he personally signed with Ukraine in 2003.

Putin in 2003 signed a treaty with Ukraine called the “Treaty Between the Russian Federation and Ukraine on the Russian–Ukrainian State Border”. It recognized Ukraine’s borders as they were in 1991 & was lodged with the UN.

What are you babbling about?

It was Ukraine that violated the Minsk Accords, which was a treaty between it and the Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts.

Hollande and Merkel openly admitted Ukraine signing Minsk was a ruse to give Ukraine time to build up its military.

It was Ukraine that backed out of a peace deal Turkey three years ago that would have ended the war after pressured to do so by Boris Johnson.

You're a liar.

What are you babbling about? It was Ukraine that violated the Minsk Accords

1-Russia signed numerous treaties with Ukraine recognizing its borders.

2-Putin invaded Ukraine, seizing and annexing its territory, clearly violating those treaties.

Mink was violated by both sides, because there was no clear implementation order.

Agreement stipulated withdrawal of foreign military forces, requiring Russian troops to leave occupied Ukraine, which they never did. Russia was also supposed to return control of the Ukrainian side of the international border with Russia to Ukraine.

Russia signed numerous treaties with Ukraine recognizing its borders.

What in hell are you babbling about?

Ukraine, in ITS CONSTITUTION, agreed to be politically neutral toward Russia in 1996.

The illegal coup in 2014 absolutely broke that agreement.

WE promised the Russians no eastward expansion of NATO in the early '90s and expanded to the Russian border.

It's sick a-holes like you with Russian Derangement Syndrome that want to screw over the Russians at every opportunity that have us closer to WW III and nuclear war than we ever were during the Cold War.

Ukraine, in ITS CONSTITUTION, agreed to be politically neutral toward Russia in 1996.

So Ukraine cannot change its own constitution?

WE promised the Russians no eastward expansion of NATO in the early '90s and expanded to the Russian border.

What in hell are you babbling about?

Name the treaty, that guarantees "no eastward expansion of NATO".

James Baker was negotiating in 1990 on the reunification of Germany, and said, in negotiations, “Not one inch eastwards” in regards to the territory of the former East Germany which is included in a treaty called "Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany" which forbids foreign troops on the territory of the former East Germany.

Once again, did Russia sign multiple treaties recognizing Ukraine's borders? Did Putin in 2003 sign a treaty recognizing Ukraine's borders?

“A Russian negotiator has warned that peace talks with the US on the war in Ukraine could drag into 2026.”

Not with 25-50% secondary sanctions on Russian oil sales.

Russia may have overplayed its hand, and is fixing to get Trumped.

“I’m sure the Russians aren’t going to tolerate a military threat in Finland, either.”

Finland is in NATO now. Their President had breakfast with President Trump today, and played golf with him. Border fortification and NATO forward basing are already under construction in Finland. Russia can’t do a damned thing about that.

Poland alone will outgun Russia on the ground soon, at current rates of Russian decline and Polish buildup. Turkey too, even without a buildup. Putin has driven Russia’s Military and economy into the dirt.

Putin wanted the Finlandization of NATO, and got the NATOization of Finland instead.

Double the border with NATO, and the Russian units that used to guard (threaten) the NATO border have been sent to their deaths in Ukraine. Their equipment clutters Ukrainian scrapyards. Their Unit flags remain in Ukraine, in the hands of the poorly trained new replacements for the dead and disabled pros.

Russia’s Tank Armies have been expended in Ukraine, and their old Soviet stockpiles bled dry. Now Russia boys are sent to die in comical clown car parodies of a combat vehicle, that a Somali tribesman would look down at.

Putin has done this.
