Trump Singles Out Reporter For Wearing Mask In Oval Office: ‘You Feel More Comfortable, Right?’

President Donald Trump singled out San Francisco Chronicle Washington correspondent Shira Stein for wearing a COVID mask in the Oval Office, remarking, “You’re wearing a mask! So nice of you!”

Trump — who wore a mask sporadically during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic — made a habit of mocking reporters for wearing masks as the precaution became the subject of MAGA cultural derision. But masks are still recommended for individuals at high risk of harm from the disease.

At an Oval Office event on Wednesday, Trump took questions from reporters, including Stein — who was the print pooler for the day and has previously shared on X/Twitter that she is a high-risk individual.

Trump interrupted her question to make observations about her mask:

“He deferred to the ‘experts’ not really knowing the experts were scumbags that manipulated data and information”

We all did. The people he deferred to WERE the experts as far as anyone knew at the beginning. This was Pence’s circus, inserting former allies of his into the mix.

After a couple weeks, though, most of us recognized the BS for what it was. Trump was a hostage. The mass formation psychosis of the low-IQ people was over the top.

I can’t help but wonder if this was Pence’s first overt attempt to take out PDJT.

Pence pushed that from Fauci and Brix.

When stores started requiring masks, we went in P100 masks, looking like we were ready for chemical warfare.

We got the intended glances.

I wore a mocking cheese cloth mask in April 2020 to retail stores. When a handful of females questioned it, I always told them: "my mask is as effective as yours"

At work I wore a flapping black bandana that said: "the beatings will continue until morale improves!"

I’m a fan of people wearing masks. It’s my enemies identifying themselves.

Wearing a face diaper increases your chances of getting sick.

Fauci knew this.

You missed the confession of Bicks/Brits/that byatch who worked with Fauci. She admitted that DJT gave her direct orders on how to deal with WuhanFlu issues and she deliberately disobeyed. Bragged about it. As bad as Miley working with the CCP.

He was betrayed on all levels. In a private company such would have been perp walked to the door and had their box thrown at them on the stoop.

yeah I know Trump was betrayed and all but he still pulled the trigger. when they first started talking about it, I remember thinking to myself,” you can’t shut down a civilization for 15 days!” it ended up being several years and like I say it basically is like when the emperor shoves the dagger into the gladiators’ side in the movie the gladiator. It finished us off.

I see it in the same light you do, but I have found that some people find a internal way to deal with the feeling they were wronged, and there is little you can say will change their mind.

Not for those who wear it below their nose or fail to pinch the nose band tight. Most of the air flows around the mask unless it is worn correctly.

Reusing a mask is also a mistake.

Unless you are using a properly fitted M-95 mask, those silly face diapers are just virtue signaling and provide no real protection to the wearer. Face masks might be useful to catch the droplets if you were ill and coughing or sneezing, but the virus partials will still pass through.

IMO the masks are a joke but I do think they can reduce outbound viruses mainly because viruses are usually attached to water droplets which are relatively large. On top of that, and contrary to popular belief, there is no lower limit to the size of particles the masks can filter out. That’s because for smaller particles, the filtering action isn’t mechanical but electrostatic.

Thank you.

IMO it was a tide like a tsunami. If he had fired Fauci or Birx or both the MSM would have made them martyrs and their media darling status would have increased exponentially. And they would have loved to play the part.

Aside from being removed from office, which means he would have been barred from holding any public office again, imagine the other consequences of having the media turn up the hysteria 100 fold in order to support their narrative.

They couldn’t have just removed a popular President without setting their reasoning for it in concrete. All the mandates, censorship and propaganda would have been far far more draconian than it was.

yeah I know Trump was betrayed and all but he still pulled the trigger.

And yet it wasn't a law, it wasn't a regulation and it wasn't an Executive Order. No one was told to stay home from work.

It was a request to the public to wear masks and keep a distance from others for 15 days. Trump never supported any more than that.

and yet everything was completely shut down for years and we are still reeling from that. It gutted us like a fish. The tariffs would have been fine in the 1800’s because America controlled innovation and production. Most of the rest of the world lived in huts and worshipped fish or phased of the moon. Since then we have our tech and know how away. The whole world today knows how to make steel. China can manipulate genes and Russia knows how to drill for oil and drive for Uber. They can easily reason they don’t need us. We benefitted immensely from world trade for decades and decades. We were cheated, yes, but still managed to survive and thrive because we were made of good stock. Today, we’ve been infected by the Aztec empire and from 4th worlders from every hole. Our stock is now “not awesome.” I hate to call it. I’m just ahead of the curve and realistic. Only mass deportations on the scale of millions and millions could have saved us. I had hoped we would have that. We are deporting on average about 600 people a day. That does nothing. That doesn’t even slow down the process. Only draconian resolute pain could have spared us what’s coming. I had hoped. A President realistically only has about two years before the. next President is running for office. You have to move forward like a bull on crack.

no matter what we think of Trump, he greenlighted one of the biggest errors in judgement in U.S. history. I will never forget the Covid mess. He was in charge so who else can we blame. He can make up for it by deporting millions of freeloaders. Is that happening? unfortunately not. There isn’t much time but that’s honestly the only thing that can put our ship back on course- deport the 75 million illegals and their families. Everything else is just same old same old. I won’t mention the NJ drone info, the Epstein files, JfK files audit Fort Knox etc. please hold your breath.
