Detained Columbia University protester Mahmoud Khalil will stay locked up in a Louisiana ICE facility for now — as a New Jersey judge refused to consider freeing him on bail during a hearing Friday.
Newark federal court Judge Michael Farbiarz declined to hear arguments on whether to free the 30-year-old green card holder — who has become the face of President Trump’s crackdown on students protesting the Israel-Hamas war — during the hour-long hearing, which was attended by his pregnant wife.
Instead, the judge said he’d rule first on the feds’ bid to move Khalil’s legal case challenging his deportation to Louisiana, where he is currently being held.

Well don’t deport him then. Just put him in J6 prison solitary confinement and then forget about him until his trial in 100 years.
I’m surprised they didn’t roll her into court in a wheelchair wearing a neck brace.
Send both the agitators back to Syria together where they belong. They are not Americans and never will be. If they go home, that should make it easier on Noor Abdalla.
Well, that was a bit of a surprise. The judge in this case, Michael Farbiarz, is a Biden appointee. Yet he managed to make a good decision in an immigration case.

I believe federal law requires the suit be adjudicated in the district where the arrestee is being held - black letter law.
The judge is out of his lane - again.
Some chicks have problem pregnancies were more bedrest is required to prevent miscarriage.
Once the kid’s born she can look forward to an active life tending to captives.
