I worked with a guy whose dad was a multi-millionaire lawyer and was in his late 80s and on the downhill slide with various illnesses. His sister hired a Shaman from Alabama and flew them up to see if they could cure dad. Didn’t work & I’m guessing the dad was out of it because he was a big Catholic & this would have been a big no no.

No “blame” intended as when you are facing certain death, reaching for any legitimate of charlatan treatment is understandable. Unfortunately it was never going to work !!
