Probably playing Top Gun in the LAX flight path
Wild Bill Kelso
The movie 1941
Lol.
My neighbor says it’s a conspiracy. But he always says that.
ECOMCON
Have to be VTOLs.
Only a classy, green-eyed blonde would say that! π
I just watched a Navy P-8 Poseidon (on Flightradar24) make 6 loops just west of me, over dry land in Mobile County, Alabama. It was only at 20,000 feet and I could hear it but not see it. The last I saw it it was headed west, and now looks like it has gone dark because I can’t see it anywhere. That’s weird.
“”I had no idea today was opening day.””
I just heard today that the Braves open tomorrow with the Padres in San Diego - so the West Coast teams are starting early???? Seems early but guess not!
It’s been a long time since the end of the season and I welcome it!!!!!
That’s what you call a day late and a dollar short - just turned the TV on and the Dodger/Tiger game is on ESPN with various scores of other games so the Braves are in San Diego now......Guess I’ll be hearing from a relative there that I just wrote to about opening day being tomorrow....we stay in touch more during baseball season...
I heard them first, then saw them on the subsequent runs.
Well, to me opening day is in April and World Series is not in November.
I used to go to spring training games every year, and opening day too.
Now I donβt pay attention to baseball, except offhandedly.
In 2020 the players refused to play a game because they were in solidarity with a sexual predator, who had been terrorizing a woman, who was shot by police after brandishing a knife.
That was it for me.
No more Major League Baseball.
“I get them all the time. Mostly from Ft. Campbell.”
I lived 20 miles from there and used to fly around the area all the time. I never saw any fighter jets. I moved in 1999, maybe the Air Force started operation there.
I don’t think so, SD successfully beat the Braves 7-4 at SD.
They opened today. We were having dinner with the kids at the Garden & Gun restaurant at The Battery (right next to Truist field), and there were a ton of Braves fans there watching it on the green there at The Battery.
Sound of freedom...savor it.
Nah. After a few replies I got better info. I don’t have a clue. It’s just a close base so I assumed. Stupid.
Anotger base is south of here. Both are 60 miles away. Fast to cover in jets.
A lot of them. Many contrails. High altitude.
Fun to watch them fly by.
Now, we definitely get huge military helicopters from time to time.
maybe they are on vulture patrol
looking for
roadkill
;-)
Everybody's got to be somewhere.
LOL ππ
