The Sudanese army has recaptured significant locations in Khartoum, including the presidential palace and Khartoum International Airport, from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). This offensive, which took place amidst ongoing conflict, marks a major shift in control over the capital. The army's advance has led to scenes of relief among civilians, as previously restricted neighborhoods are now accessible.

I am rooting for them the RSF are rapers and pillagers but the Sudan army won't spare them so it's a tricky one.

It's a Godforsaken land...

Muzzies fighting muzzies. Sort-of-mnoderate muzzies versus sort-of-militant muzzies....

"The infamous Blasphemy law was repealed, Sharia law was shelved, and Islam was removed as the country’s official religion.

"This joy was short lived as in October 2021 Sudanese politics reverted to type, and a military dictator, al Burhan, took over. The so called 'deep state' Islamists appointed by Bashir have returned to prominence. The primary trouble for persecuted Christians today is survival in the light of a brutal civil war between General Burhan and General Hemedti which broke out in April 2023, and has left 10,000 dead and 5.6 million displaced. The conflict is not over religion, but over the division of wealth – both crave access to the gold reserves of the country."

Minority Christians -- circa 5 percent of the population -- are inbetween. Muzzie versus muzzie, at this point.

It’s described as ‘Hell on Earth’

The RSF will burn the place to the ground on the way out.

Is it not interesting that these muzzies are referred to ( or refer to themselves ) as “Rapid Support Force” -— sounding rather like Western militaries? Not a transliteration — “Quwwāt ad-daʿm as-sarī? — as the Western media transliterated “Al Qaeda” and the “Taliban?” Or just refer to then as a Sudanese military, as two different governments are at war?

What's odd about this RSF -- in part -- is their GoDaddy website, which was begun in 2023, and is privacy protected by a company in Arizona. Some of the graphics on that site show men in suits, and Western style military garb. Sort of "French foreign legion" looking. Marketing, for some strange reason. But through a US firm?

It sure seems that quote from Christian Relief is apt: " The conflict is not over religion, but over the division of wealth – both crave access to the gold reserves of the country."

Given that "gold reserves" at at play, it sure seems likely interested "international partners" have their hands in things....
