Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) said Monday that she believes Democrats need to “punch” opponents to win elections in Texas, especially Republican politicians like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who she said needs to be “knocked over the head, like hard.”
Crockett made the pugilistic remarks during an interview with NBC DFW, despite being warned by Attorney General Pam Bondi on Sunday to temper her inflammatory rhetoric.
When asked “how do you win elections in Texas as a Democrat? What do you do? Especially statewide,” Crockett, wearing a bright yellow pantsuit, responded “I think that you punch, I think you punch. I think you’re ok with — you’re ok with punching.”
She continued to use the violent imagery, targeting Senator Cruz specifically.
“But, like, it’s Ted Cruuuz. I mean, like, this dude has to be knocked over the head, like, hard, right?” Crockett declared. “Like, there is no niceties with him, like, at all. Like, you go clean off on him, right?”

Attorney General Pam Bondi had previously warned Crockett to “tread very carefully” during an interview on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” Crockett, who apparently leases a Tesla luxury sports sedan herself, has become a particularly aggressive campaigner against the E-car company.
During a one hour Indivisible call on Wednesday, the Texas congresswoman had told the anti-Tesla activists that March 29 is her birthday, and “all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down—yes!”
“Now you have this Congresswoman Crockett who is calling for attacks on Elon Musk on her birthday. Let’s take him out on my birthday, she said. Yet she turns and says, oh, I’m not calling for violence,” Bondi said.
“She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we are going to fight to protect all the Tesla owners throughout this country,” added Bondi, who has labeled the violent attacks against Tesla “domestic terrorism.”
“Domestic terrorism is going to come to a stop in our country,” Bondi said.
During an appearance on MSNBC later Sunday, host Alex Witt asked for her reaction to Bondi’s comments.
“I have never promoted violence whatsoever, yet I’ve also never made excuse for those violent actors such as the ones on January 6,” Crockett said, in reference to President Donald Trump’s pardons for all J6ers.
“So Pam Bondi, if you have an issue with terrorism, maybe you should talk to your boss about locking back up those guys that he let out that participated in January 6.”
Left-wing organizers have planned a “global day of action” to “Take Down” Tesla on March 29, aiming for protests at 277 locations in the U.S. and 500 Tesla locations around the world.
“Let’s send these techno-fascists, broligarchs and old fashioned Nazis a message loud and clear. NO WAY,” a #TeslaTakedown organizer posted on the lefty platform Bluesky.
“This is a nonviolent protest that they’re calling for,” Crockett said during her MSNBC appearance. “One of the things that I told people to do is make sure you are adhering to the laws in your area. Make sure you know what it looks like to protest and to be able to raise your voices and to exercise your constitutional right to free speech.”
It remains to be seen whether the thousands of anti-Musk radicals who make up the “Take Down Tesla” movement will have the self restraint to protest nonviolently. Democrat politicians like Crocket are well aware that their allies on left have a long history of holding “peaceful protests” that evolve into violent riots at nightfall, as was seen repeatedly during the 2020 George Floyd protests. So their calls for “peaceful protest” should be taken with a grain of salt.
The democrats want things to be “Mostly Peaceful”.
How is this not illegal? Pam Bondi, I’m looking at you.
Has she ever even interacted with Cruz, or is he just the big boogyman to her?
This ghettopotomus needs to be dealt with.
No more lip-service, Bondi. Time to take the gloves off.
It has been said numerous times that this group of people, more or less, have impulse control issues.
This nutcase needs to be arrested.
Bondi will just send a “strongly worded letter”.
She needs to add about 75 pounds and spend her time in a Waffle House, trying to pick fights about weaves and nails.
Again I can’t help but think radicalized, younger, college educated black females are the new version of the white male Weathermen of the 60s.
As with all women they aren’t quite as likely to act physically but much of their dogma is very similar: distribution of wealth , class struggle (they substitute race also), social Justice etc,
*** Bondi will just send a “strongly worded letter”. ***
She talks a good game.
Hilarious how she turns on her ghetto black speak for the cameras.
stochastic terrorism
is that still a thing?
Impulse issues.
Control ain’t got nothing to do with it.
Yep, she is finally going to ‘take off the gloves’, play hardball—and send that ‘strongly worded letter’ in CAPITAL LETTERS!
“It has been said numerous times that this group of people, more or less, have impulse control issues.”
I’m astonished by the number of adults making these “meet you in the parking lot” type of childish challenges. If I recall Tim Walz said something like this. Our important political and social issues will be decided by some overweight middle-aged people fighting it out in the parking lot? Seriously? What this tells me is, they aren’t adult. They don’t have reasoned arguments. They don’t have a plan or a goal. Just fight it out. I’ll win and then you’ll be sorry. More importantly, you won’t be disagreeing with me because I can’t deal with that.
she was never in da hood
she is pandering with that accent
im going to scream this one last time so maybe this dumb broad can finally grok it
WE ARENT THE SOCIALISTS
