“Death, heart attack, stroke...”
In that order!
I don’t have TV in my home (since 1997) and I am on YouTube premium, so I don’t see ads. However, I visit my sister in law on occasion in Chicago. They love to watch a lot of cable TV. I sometimes watch it with them to be sociable. I’m SHOCKED at all the drug ads. I honestly don’t get it. They are actually trying to get people to tell their doctor about the latest drug they saw advertized on TV. Heck, I only saw the doctor once in the last 15 years. And that resulted in me getting open heart surgery for a birth defect that finally reared its ugly head when I was 69.
I swear big pharma is attempting to get the whole nation addicted/hooked on “legal” drugs. The only drug beyond aspirin I’ve ever taken is, on VERY rare occasion, dayquil so I could get to work. And then never more than one day each time. But I’m retired now, so no need to muscle through a day at work through chemistry.😁😎
I was amazed by the number of smokers in Italy, but from the whiffs I got, I suspect the tobacco they buy is better.
And it goes without saying that I never got the jab. I don’t use my body as a beta test platform for big pharma.
The ads on all tv is crazy. Drug ads, Medicare supplements, and lawyers who want to sue😄

**** DEAR PATIENTS ****
Do not ask me to prescribe a specific drug I’m not currently prescribing for you. By federal law I will not be allowed to do so. You will have to go to another doctor to get the drug and pay for that visit too. And if you ask him/her for it, he/she won’t be able to prescribe it to you either.
Pharma drugs used to be banned on TV. Our Country was better off when Pharma wasn’t allowed on TV and Beer and Cigarettes were allowed.
No need for two words. "Man" in businessman has a generic meaning, having been descended from the German "Mann" (see "woman" which means "female person"). We should refuse to use so-called "inclusive" language which is based on false premises and is intended to promote a feminist agenda.
Oh Oh Oh no
I had one FReeper ridiculously opining that these were “educational” commericals.
I had to reluctantly aver to 1st Amendment rights, but no way I was going to beclown myself by agreeing they were “educational”. Maybe for dummies.
"...uncontrollable greasy discharge..."
Oh yeah. I made a point to investigate that one! Just can't wait to get that one inside my body!
Hooray ! It’s like Big Tobacco v 2.0
Quick.....somebody tell the tobacco industry.....
Yes, and the worst side effect besides death is anal seepage
Once upon a time, there were no pharma ads on TV, and the pharmaceutical industry did just fine!
Pharma ads are long and boring, with all those messages about adverse effects. Getting rid of them should not hurt the pharma industry, and will help televiewers. I don’t know about cable companies.
Can we get rid of the Kars 4 Kids ads too ?
Yes, like that wet/dry amd - macular degeneration ad, — if you take the injection in your eye you might get the other kind of macular degeneration, or blindness ... hurry and ask your doctor if this medicine is right for you ...
Great idea!!!
More winning.
Right, go after free enterprise instead of the criminal gov’t malefactors taking bribes.
If they are able to stop them that would be AWESOME !!!
