Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s Health Secretary pick, just launched a bombshell move to ban Big Pharma ads on TV, and it’s a direct strike at the heart of networks like CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC—leaving Trump supporters cheering and the left in panic.
In a video, Patrick Bet-David exposes the dirty truth: “Big Pharma is keeping Cable TV in business. 75% of ad revenue on cable television comes from the Pharmaceutical Industry.” That’s $4.5 billion in 2022 alone, per MediaRadar, propping up these networks while they push drugs like Ozempic.

Couldn’t agree more, my wife is probably tired of me complaining about musical productions advertising medicines
It is a thermo-nuclear explosion within the ranks of the lying media. This is the same media that has protected pharma and Fauci!!
Without compensation, how soon will their messaging change?
Fox will survive...Thank God for Mike Lindell!
Good ! I’m so sick of seeing ads for antidepressant drugs that then warn suicidal thoughts are a side-effects.
Fox has big pharma ads all day too.
There is a huge disconnect between two “sources” in this post.
One claims 75% of ad money for cable comes from “big pharma”.
The other source claims 3.4% of ad money for cable would be lost if RFJ Jr. succeeds.
A 3.4% drop is not a cable destroying drop.
But how will I know what the visible lining of my colon looks like? It’s supposed to look 93% better. That may change and I wouldn’t know what to look for? Every little pill has a big story to tell.
While we’re at it, how about Medicare Advantage ads?
The Citizens United arguments in favor of free speech would also apply here.
They are on regular programming stations as well.
So disgusting to hear about the disgusting side effects - some even including DEATH - especially near meal times. Many don’t even state what they are intended to treat!
Count me in! Nothing I despise more than some friggin commercial with an earbug song selling a drug for an illness no one has ever heard of. It’s like induced tinnitus for old grumpy guys!! Get off my lawn(tv)!!
Americans would really appreciate this. Those ads are a big pharma strike at the intelligence of Americans.
Advertising of prescription meds is a relatively recent and unwelcome phenomenon. It would be a good thing to have it removed.
Yes, we can sing a few of them. 😄
Gov’t bribes with Big Pharma are unconstitutional and gov’t banning free speech of private enterprise is unconstitutional.
It likely assumes ad costs will come down and other businesses will buy those now cheaper slots.
But, true, it will just dent their income, not destroy it.
Get rid of the nutraceutical ads too. I don’t give a damn how spry Elmer Heinrich is or how many people love gulping down fruit and vegetable horse pills every few hours.
thinly veiled bribes
are the ads effective?
if your doc doesnt know the latest drugs for your condition
you need a new doc
whether or not RFK is successful
the real killshot would be to force cable tv companies
to offer a la carte programming
