7 Actions That NATO Countries Are Taking Which Indicate That Something Really Big Is Coming
New American Prophet ^ | March 23, 2025 | Michael Snyder

If peace is on the way, why are they feverishly preparing for World War III? It appears to me that NATO countries are convinced that something really big is coming. Is there something that they know that they aren’t telling the rest of us? As I discussed yesterday, things in the Middle East are really heating up, and the conflict in Ukraine has reached a very dangerous stage. If negotiations with Russia fail, both sides are likely to significantly escalate matters in a desperate attempt to win the war, and the Russians could come to the conclusion that a final showdown with NATO has begun. We do not want the Russians to view the conflict in Ukraine in those terms, because they are already extremely paranoid and it wouldn’t take much to push them over the edge. Unfortunately, NATO countries continue to do things that will raise tensions instead of easing them. The following are 7 actions that NATO countries are taking which indicate that something really big is coming…

I agree. They’re fools and Globalists who have put themselves in a bind.
They would be defeated in a war with Russia.

The European people do not want a war.

Yes, it’s a good thing. To hell with them.

European children are taught nothing about The Berlin Airlift or The Marshall Plan, etc.

A false flag nuclear device that appears to be Russian detonated in a NATO nation would solve so many problems.

1) the war against Russia goes hot
2) the collapsing economies of the EU get saved
3) the migrant problem is overshadowed
4) the WEF governments are preserved
5) Everyone can get their “cut” of the war profiteering
6) Trump’s assurance of peace is humiliated

“like we got dragged into WW2 even though the US people were against getting involved.”

Pearl Harbor?

Right.. I’m not denying there is a risk of WWIII - I’m just saying that the recent chorus of ‘prepare-for-war’ rhetoric by European leaders is not based on any particular development - but rather is designed to raise doubts about the wisdom of President Trump putting America first at this particular time.

They would rather we put Europe first.

“It will also have tips on how to create a survival kit with essentials including six litres of water, canned food, batteries, and basic medical supplies.”

That’s prepping for an overnight camping trip not a world War.

I’m surprised they don’t teach their children how easy it is to roll Americans... it sure looks that way.

The first time Trump was elected NATO mocked him - and resented him asking them to ‘keep their word and pay what they agreed to pay’.

A lot of your points are valid. Unfortunately, if that were to happen, points 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 could be irrelevant if #1 happens in a big way.

Is a joke. You don’t prepare for war over night. Europe does not have the infrastructure in place to “PFW”. They don’t have the energy (fossil fuel type) required. Nor do they have the man power energy (low energy - see Jeb Bush reference). Being a military Paper tiger would be a step up for Europe.

The Europeans are simply rebuilding the militaries they allowed to decay over the past 25 years.

When Russia was comparatively much weaker and Europe much stronger, no one plotted to attack Russia. Worrying about so called "Russian paranoia" is simply an excuse to preemptively make concessions to Russia, usually at someone else's expense. Russia could ease it's paranoia about neighbors that hate it if it would simply stop attacking its neighbors and if Putin stopped yammering about restoring the Russian Empire.

Judging from comments from many European officials, the Europeans have decided not to go along with any "peace" agreement in Ukraine that looks like a Ukrainian capitulation, because doing so is a danger to them. So even if the US withdraws funding for Ukraine, the Europeans will provide sufficient money and weapons for Ukraine to keep fighting its defense in depth, which is inflicting very heavy losses on the Russians if they try to advance.

Pearl Harbor was an inevitable response to Roosevelt's gradual escalation of measures against Japan.

When Western Europe fell to the Nazis, the Dutch government became very beholden to the US, and the US put pressure on them and Britain to stop selling oil to Japan from the Dutch East Indies and Brunei. Japan had only about a year's worth of oil in reserve. The attack on Pearl Harbor was to force the US to concede Japanese control of Pacific oil sources.

The US public was decidedly against getting involved in either a war in Europe or in the Pacific. Pearl Harbor forced the issue.

And we were very, very lucky the carriers were not at Pearl and that Heisenberg flubbed his fission reactor experiments.

You should watch this short video about the European-American relationship. In a nutshell Europeans look down on us but expect us to do most of the heavy lifting:

There are so many things in our lives that we’re invited to be outraged about.

However, the more faithful response is to respond only to those things that need a response (i.e. not everything).

We have to save our energy to respond only to those things that seek to destroy the creatures of God.

McCarthy: Trump has ‘broken the Democratic party’

Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Sunday that President Trump has “broken the Democratic Party,” adding that it has become “leaderless” and party members are “
fighting among themselves.”
“It is a huge mess,” McCarthy said of the present state of the Democratic Party in a conversation with radio host John Catsimatidis on “The Cats Roundtable” Sunday on WABC 770 AM.
“It wasn’t just that President Trump won the election. He has now broken the Democratic Party,” he said.
