One thing you will notice with these articles from Democrat Moutpiece Proganda outlets like Politico is that they twist themselves into pretzels to avoid the most obvious and honest reason for the Democrat decline: their policies are way to the left and too extreme for the American electorate.

It's the progressive faction against the more moderate faction.
It’s not about radical or not. It’s about perception that their Congressional leaders didn’t do enough to block Trump.
I don’t want to put too much weight on these numbers. They reflect dissatisfaction toward inaction, not agenda or ideology.
