Strange nature of California wildfires

Posted on 03/18/2025 3:23:43 PM PDT by bluescape

This link on X talked about the strange nature of the California wildfires.

https://x.com/sxdoc/status/1883984684188893393

I don't quickly jump to conspiracy explanations but these days I'm way more open to them than just a few years ago. Don't without reason as we're seeing Elon and Trump expose stuff.

What do the freepers think about this wildfire phenomena in the X post? We had a slew of fires this weekend in Oklahoma and I think Texas. Weird weather can combine conditions naturally to cause unprecedented events, but so can other things.

Weird fire behavior was pointed out at Lahaina too.

They had plans for “Fifteen Minute Cities” in Lahaina and Palisades, but the residents would not sell.

They are now moving ahead with those plans.

You do the math.

I’m not seeing a good correspondence between the photos and the narrative.

It takes power to melt things. I can’t imagine a microwave based system delivering that much power over that big an area.

The wildfires I have seen were propagated by Class A shingles lifting in high winds to become flying blobs of burning tar that would stick to Masonite siding of the next house drooling fire down the side. Whole subdivisions would burn despite gobs of defensible space. The reason you see nothing about that is that the entire construction permitting bureaucracy in this country blessed those shingles.

Arson ain’t weird. My church pastor last Sunday was calling for “backburning fires to combat injustice” during her sermon.

The fires in Cali spread against the wind, and started on back porches. They were lit by teams of arsonists. My Niece lived through it, the houses across the street from her burned down, and she witnessed arsonists carrying burning material from house to house. Just because the news doesn’t cover it, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I also saw videos of men on flatbed trucks throwing off cans of fuel onto the shoulder of the road, and people picking them up and heading up the hill to set more fires. California was one massive set up with real live actors..bad actors, involved.

It is very doubtful that directed energy weapons were used in the So Cal fires.

why go to those lengths when a cup of gasoline and a bic lighter is more than enough.

Live Oaks are the most common oak in California.

One of the easiest trees to catch fire. You can burn it in a wood stove with as little as 2 weeks cure time. Because of its high BTU rating it not only catches fire easily, burns long but also burns extremely hot.

They are mostly illegal to cut in California. In many mountain counties you have to pay to remove them.

In the county I live in it costs $159 per inch to cut one down. For a 10 inch diameter tree, yes that’s $1590.00 !

Those funds are then given to nature conservancies. (You know in the name of protecting our resources)

While I like all other oak trees, the Live Oak is essentially a weed. A nuisance.

This has been a scam on Californians for decades in the name of oak preservation.
Save the other oaks YES but this tree is a menace for helping start fires that burn extremely long and hot.

They should pay to have these trees removed for bio fuel.

They have also wanted to get rid of those seaside mansions in Malibu for decades. Most of those lots were built before the 1930s, long before the coastal commission, and people have just torn down and rebuilt them repeatedly until they became huge monstrosities.

My question was, why didn’t they bring in the famous fire boats from Long Beach? They could have put out those fires along the beach using seawater. Never even called them out. I can guarantee you they won’t allow a single home to be rebuilt along that strip.

"Weird fire behavior was pointed out at Lahaina too."

That's the first thing that popped into my head.

Not the Tubbs fire, or Paradise. If you are referring to SoCal, I wasn't there.

Thanks, that's because he superimpose me atop the PowerPoint file and not the screen.

I have evidence that live oaks invaded our mountains where under aboriginal management there were virtually none. The acorns of Qs parvula shrevei and agrifolia and hybrids thereof were brought in between 1900 and 1940 by grading blades on dirt roads. I have a time series of aerial photos of the invasion process from 1931 onward here.

Interesting observations. A physicist would be hard pressed to provide a cogent natural explanation for why nailed/screwed connections in wood can be the only evidence of fire. It defies natural fire behavior. Ask any fire investigator.

Dunno. Vid smacks of tin hat, but there are many photographs which are not easily explained scientifically, particularly the one with the chainsaw in the back of the truck.

...massive set up with real live actors...

I will suggest they weren't actors at all. I would label them as soldiers.

Somebody hired them, like Ant teefa soldiers I suppose. I just realized that. Ants swarm on the enemy of the colony to protect the Queen. Very clever of them to hide it like that, and of course being fascistic, when they are fascist.
