I’m pretty sure there have been other sporting events where someone in the audience got sick.
I’m also pretty sure that they don’t normally suspend play because of it.
But I guess some people are more special.
Outside seats - it probably was a simple case of safety for players, not to mention the optics on the TV coverage.
