What is it about Democrats and their urge to inflict criminals and terrorists upon us?
In their quest to Get Trump on immigration, which is probably his strongest point with the public, they've picked three migrant cause célèbres they're waving at the public, promoting them as sob stories and "threats to democracy."
And boy, do they stink.
First off, the case of recent Columbia University graduate and green card holder, Mahmoud Khalil, a Syrian-born "Palestinian" and citizen of Algeria who organized pro-Hamas protests there last year, promoted Jew-hate, and called for the end of Western Civilization.
Democrats have been quick to jump on the issue as a matter of protecting the rights of green card holders.
Aside from the legalism, which will be sorted out in courts, do they really think American voters are obsessed with legal due process for someone like this over watching one of the country's great universities get desecrated by Jew-hating maniacs who leave trash all over the place, take over buildings, smash windows and furniture, spray graffiti, hold custodians hostage, whine for the cameras over food, and create such a monstrous mess at the center of the university grounds that they disrupted graduation? If someone hates the U.S. and the university that took them in that much, should they really be in this country at all?
Explain how this character got a green card at all -- that's a second question.
But Democrats are making this their issue, their hill they die on, and all it's doing for them is dropping their public approval rating.
Khalil is far from their only poster boy.
Another charmer that Democrats and their media allies are championing is Dr. Rasha Alawieh, supposedly a noble kidney doctor in Rhode Island, who just happens to have a hankering for Hezb'allah

The left seems to have an affinity for totalitarians.
This smells like pure derpstate astroturfing with funding from the Saudis or Iran.
The winners of the French Revolution went on a purity tear, executing people who were not, in today’s parlance, woke enough. They were, for the most part, “woke” just not woke enough. Since there are no objective purity standards, it’s whatever “I” say it is today, and you fail! Off with his head! (The crowd roars approval.)
I think, in a nutshell, that’s where the Left has gone. Their cult has entered the stage of eating its own. Each individual lawyer, protestor, “activist” has become his own denouncer and executioner of those not sufficiently pure.

Republicans have no hill! They just suckle at the teet of the day Trump hands them . Truly banana repubes.
When you’re on a visa you’re a guest in that country, you have no rights to keep that visa. Your visa can be revoked basically for any reason. To legally get a green card in the USA is a multi-year process, expensive and painful, I know from personal experience.
So don’t piss off the country granting you a visa. And be aware, government policies can change. What was acceptable with the last group may be a deportable offense with the new group.
If Trump has to take these demons back after they have been flown out of the country due to some totally dubious decision by an arrogant lower court judge, then the best curative is to do what Gov. DeSantis did - fly them to Martha’s Vineyard, Potomac Maryland, the Hamptons, Brookline - rent a fine hotel and Uber in meals so they stay there and see just how many hours it takes the right thinking NIMBY liberals living in the “right” neighborhoods to howl in anger.
The reason why the Democrats keep aligning with the 20 percent is that the mainstream media keep encouraging them to do so. They are in the perfect “bubble.” Also, they can’t afford to upset any of their “victim” groups.
I agree they have backed themselves into a corner, but it will only take one leader with realistic grounding to break the spell. Don’t assume the democrats will roll over. They will not. Someone will emerge. It’s a long way to 2026 much less 2028. Many things can happen, and be made to happen, in the meantime.

Dems are *not* “soft” on crime. They are actively in favor of it as a revolutionary tactic.
Same experience here. When I was reading through the paperwork, the gist was agreeing to be a self-supporting, law-abiding, non-Communist (it WAS the Nineties) citizen. Not a difficult assignment.
I have no issues with Mahmoud Khalil being deported.
They used to be all about Women’s Rights until the lesbians took over. They were also all about Minority rights until the minorities they loved weren’t really minorities, but people that want special treatment because they think they’re special.

Indeed, the rats will find another moron to lead them into the wilderness so they can die a slow death. The screaming progressives will break from the party to create another far left group that everyone hates, further decimating the dying democrat party.
