Fact checks say this is FALSE. That is because the question they used says “Mandate” instead of “Asks” or “Requests”. A common way the fact checkers mislead is by intentionally using the wrong question.

Kind of like the headline: “A Violent Society!!! Most Americans say it’s fine to beat the Shiite out of your kids on a regular basis.”
The question: “Do you think it’s ok to occasionally spank your kid when he acts up?”
Even here I’ve seen some people intentionally try to conflate the two. Obviously Dr. Spock followers.
