Could be both. But gate folks aren’t really in charge of very much that goes wrong.
At one time when you flew one was a valued customer.
Now they treat you as cattle.
People like this guy think
#1. The Airlines halfway expect wild and crazy confrontation from their customers a few times a month.
#2. Since “everybody’s acting out these days” they will probably get away with it, and Go Viral on the Internet too!
No-fly list, at least one night in jail, probably a lawsuit coming up.
Who knows what the gate clown said andtried to stop the guy for.
Have had my monets with unreasonabqal gate types.
Tried to board with a barely filled fanny pack and shoulder bag.
Was told only one of them allowed.
An overstuffed wallet A-OK?
I do not like crap in my pockets
WTF??
Wow, it didn’t look like he hit him that hard, but he dropped the guy.
An airline employee "being difficult" does NOT warrant decking him.
Regards,
Probably the same type person who thinks he’s so special that the firelane in front of the grocery store is his reserved parking space.
Just wait until May 7th when the TSA will require Real_ID and dozens or maybe hundreds of travelers are failing their ID checks.
Airports can indeed be very frustrating these days - overcrowded, long security lines, passengers herded like cattle, being made to take off your shoes, be scanned and patted down, your personal items being rifled through. And that’s before you get to the filthy, overcrowded planes with little room in each seat. Flying these days is a miserable experience.
There does seem to be a lot of these outbursts and even fights lately in the airport and on the planes themselves - there was one yesterday on a flight.
We’re a long way from when there was a sense of decorum and order in airports and on flights. I remember being made to dress up like we were going to church if we were flying anywhere.
I’d give up flying altogether if I didn’t have family on the other side of the counrty.
