The United States intensified its military involvement in Yemen by launching over the weekend a series of airstrikes targeting the Iran-aligned Houthis. While the escalation is intended to curtail the Houthis’ ability to disrupt critical international shipping routes in the Red Sea, it has resulted in substantial civilian casualties and raised regional tensions, prompting varied reactions from both global and local analysts.
According to the Houthi-run Health Ministry, at least 53 people — including women and children — have so far been killed, and nearly 100 others injured in the U.S. strikes. U.S. officials report that the attacks hit multiple Houthi strongholds, including in the capital Sanaa and the strategic port of Hodeidah. These locations serve as military hubs while also being densely populated urban centers.

They should debate it in Congress that’s what it’s for and in the US constitution that is their duty (WAR POWERS... )
I dont like it when Obama did it either
"Look at Goldwater for example"

Ordnance. They don’t respect laws or any ordinance. But ordnance? Boom.
War is hell... Those people would still be alive today if their military didn’t try to take on the US.
Be careful with that “ source “
I see another limp-wristed Lieberaltarian trying to influence conservatives, which is nothing new.
These Sand Uyghurs, just like Hamas, Isis, and any other group of Allah Fubar screaming goat humpers will kill women and children FIRST. F ‘em.
TAQIYYA. Not a single political word said by a Muslim can be trusted.
NOT. A. SINGLE. WORD.
The article doesn’t say 50 women and children. Its says 50 killed, including women and children. Two points: put military facilities and equipment in populated areas, THEY put the women and children at risk. Frankly Rand, I’m surprised at your attitude here. These morons have been taking offensive action to shipping, including American merchant and Navy vessels, that were not threatening their country. They deserve this, and civilian casualties are on their head.
They will only get stronger if they’re alive.
I say we remedy that right now.
L
Nor do I.
Those mooselimb terroristas are cowards, no doubt about it.
At all.
Al Queda working out of Yemen bombed the USS Cole in 2000 at the port of Aden, killing 17 U.S. sailors. The government of Yemen refused FBI access to interrogate the perps who were being held for the bombing. The majority of those originally captured were allowed to escape or were released from captivity. Only one perpetrator, Abdul Rahim al-Nashiri has been held at Gitmo since he was captured in 2002, but has never had a trial. So excuse me if I have no sympathy for those people who are likely giving aid and comfort to the Houthis as they carry out their terrorist attacks on American interests.
Similar to Hamas putting military facilities in hospitals - a war crime committed by Muslims.
I'm surprised RandFan has an opinion of his own on this, since they usually follow Rand Paul lockstep on this stuff. I haven't seen anything from Senator Paul so far. If we had to worry about taking out civilians to win wars against evil, this country never would have had any military victories.
The Houthis just need to Stop It Now.
They have a clear path going forward to just cut it out with the Jihad Business.
"It’s not great and the site would be boring if all we did was preach to the choir"

(Similar to Hamas putting military facilities in hospitals - a war crime committed by Muslims.)
Yes
I thought that the Russians made some statement to the effect that Iran was not on the table.
