OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A woman was stabbed 14 times in front of her 5-year-old daughter after 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo became upset over a bad tip on a pizza delivery, documents obtained by WESH 2 show.
The incident happened late Sunday night at Riviera Motel on E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies responded to the motel where they found the victim on the bed with stab wounds to her chest, arms, legs and abdomen, documents say.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she had surgery for a ruptured lung.
The woman's boyfriend told deputies he was at the motel with his girlfriend and her daughter to celebrate his birthday.
They had ordered a pizza from Marcos Pizza Shop, which cost $33.10, documents say.
The victim handed Alvelo, who delivered the pizza, $50 in cash and asked for change.
Alvelo told the woman she didn't have any change, so the woman searched her wallet and car for smaller bills.
Brianna AlveloWoman, 22, accused of stabbing victim over bad tip after pizza delivery in Kissimmee The victim told deputies she ended up tipping Alvelo $2, and Alvelo walked away rolling her eyes, documents say.
A short time later, the victim heard a loud knock on the door.
That's when deputies say a male and female in masks forced their way into the motel room with a gun, told the boyfriend to go into the bathroom, and began rummaging through the victim's things and breaking the 5-year-old's Nintendo Switch.
The victim said she turned away from the masked woman, later identified as Alvelo, to shield her daughter.
That's when the victim felt a hard strike on her back and saw blood.
Documents say the victim tried to get her phone, but Alvelo took it and smashed it.
The victim said Alvelo stopped attacking her when the masked man said it was time to go.
Deputies identified Alvelo on video and the vehicle she used to make the delivery matched the vehicle the masked duo was driving when they returned to their motel room.
The pizza shop confirmed Alvelo had been delivering pizzas that night.
The manager at Marcos Pizza helped Osceola County sheriff's detectives identify Alvelo.
The manager, who didn't want to be identified, said Alvelo was thoroughly background-checked when she was hired, and nothing about her raised any red flags.
Alvelo faces home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault charges.
She was booked into the Osceola County Jail on no bond, OCSO said.
The male suspect has not been identified, OCSO said.
The one silver lining from the covid fiasco was the 'delivery' culture that sprung up. I order my groceries online and any other misc item and instruct all deliveries to be left on the porch. Never had a problem like that although one *astard stole my order of groceries a few weeks ago. It's an imperfect world...
Oh so now I see that the news posted today was actually an item from December 27th.
Must be from a leprechaun poster...
“The leprechaun is said to be a solitary creature, whose principal occupation is making and cobbling shoes, and who enjoys practical jokes.”

ditto
Any Hispanic Latina who fixes their hair tight against their scalp like this one, I stay away from. They have serious anger management issues. Every one of them. But the hair seems to be a common identifying factor. Not sure why. Usually accompanied by a shopping cart full of screaming anchor babies. At Walmart, or anywhere else.
$17 for a delivery tip is ridiculous. As is the, “I don’t have any change” routine.
“You deliver pizzas, tips are a bonus that varies in amounts and doesn’t come with each delivery.”
If she could have made change she would have gotten a bigger tip.
The lady even went to her car to find tip money.
I avoid inviting unknowns to my home.
I’ve never encountered anything like that. We do everything online and tip when we order. A couple of times when the delivery person really went out of their way, we’ve slipped them some extra cash. But generally we don’t interact with them at all.
Heck, all she wanted was on slice.
Seems like a nice girl.
No! Not sausage and knives in the same sentence!!!!
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

I live in the country and not eligible for pizza delivery but I still answer my door with a gun in my hand, held low behind my leg.
Let me guess: Not MAGA.
If a fly landed on her head it would slide off
Why didn’t they give her the 50? They are the ones who ordered the pizza. 2 bucks was cheap! I don’t agree with this stabbing but come on.
AOC?
This is why I don’t order delivery anymore, pickup only. People just think they are owed too damn much for the least intelligent and difficult jobs. Also friggin tip jars EVERYWHERE! In California operations like MickeyD’s are forced to pay people $20 an hour, fast food crew is not a $20 an hour job!
