I use an image storage sight called IMGUR. Unfortunately it is a hard left crowd and today I see something that disturbs me enough to act. This goes beyond free speech imho.
There are thousands of people, daily, who make threats to Trump. Most are just jerks who mean nothing by it. Each one has to be evaluated accordingly to the probability of it happening.
You can report it straight to the FBI. They may have some general form that you can fill out.
“This video and the comments below it, I think are grounds for investigation by the FBI.”
LOL!
I would say take some screenshots of the info in question and find a NEAREST FBI office and share the info with them.
“There are thousands of people, daily, who make threats to Trump. Most are just jerks who mean nothing by it.”
charge a few hundred of those putative jerks and let’s see what the rest subsequently decide to do ...
the law that makes it illegal to threaten the President with death doesn’t have a special exception that excludes “jerks who mean nothing by it” because it’s impossible to tell whether people who make such threats “really mean it” ...
in the K-12 school system in this country as it currently stands, there is ZERO tolerance for even joking around about killing fellow students and/or blowing up schools: if you’re overheard saying it or posting it on social media, you’re expelled ... period ...
exact same thing is true regarding such jokes in an airport: zero tolerance, except you’re arrested, not expelled ...
so why is the zero tolerance standard not being applied regarding the Federal law about making death threats against the President?
We couldn’t afford to prosecute everybody who might threaten the President even jokingly. It would cost tens of billions to do that and you would confirm in the eyes of those who claim that Trump is Hitler that Trump is Hitler.
Britain is doing as you suggest, prosecuting anybody not liberal-orthodox, with whatever crimes they can.
Post the link on X and tag @FBI
don’t need to prosecute ALL of them: just start by filing charges against a bunch and then prosecute some ... ... make a few examples ... that’s why kids don’t joke about killing blowing up schools and why people don’t joke about blowing up stuff in airports ...
and the difference between this and the UK is that there’s a FEDERAL LAW SPECIFICALLY MAKING IT ILLEGAL TO MAKE DEATH THREATS AGAINST THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES ...
You can also report it to the Secret Service, use the nearest field office:
https://www.secretservice.gov/contact/field-offices
I saw an inmate in the segregation/protective custody unit at Kansas State Pen in 1978 send a letter to Jimmy Carter about a proposed visit to Kansas City, he told him not to come or he would kill him, 4 days later 2 secret service agents came to visit him for 5 hours of interrogation. he was released in 81 and spent 4 years in Danbury conn. federal correctional institution and he never wrote another letter.
I’m pretty sure JimRob has had some experience with this, based on a few, rare past idiotic statements right here on FR. You should message him!
I watched it, and there isn’t a problem with the posted content itself. It was an explanation of what happened when Operation Valkyrie was executed to terminate Hitler. It then started over.
The comments are another story. There is one on the page when it first popped up that made a nasty comment about Trump, but it wasn’t a threat exactly. The rest related to the content itself and I did not load further comments.
If you’re concerned, there are email addresses you can reach out to, or you can tag the agency on X with a copy of the link and state that the comments contained threats. I’m sure they have their hands full though, given the rabid lunacy of the left.
Some DC pol used the word “eliminate” WRT Trump.
