As the recent past funding drives indicate.

“As the recent past funding drives indicate.”

The cost of living in California is astronomical, thanks to the radical leftists in charge there. It will continue to get more difficult to ‘afford’ to live there, much less to thrive. It seems like only the truly evil or corrupted manage to thrive in that type of environment. Which is why so many good and decent people are moving away and to red states.

California is beautiful and a great place to visit, but as much as I love the scenery, I would never willingly ‘live there’. Not as long as it is being run and ruined by these leftist enemies of America.

Better make it a motorcycle courier. We live back from the road a ways. :) Tell them not to mind the dogs, they rarely kill.

Be they Zeeper-oriented (that is, super-favorable to Ukraine) or, conversely, super-favorable to Russia, or even suddenly-liberal... these accounts reactivate with a flurry of posts that are contrary to conservatism.

I notice the same thing.

Russo-Ukrainian war threads are contaminated due to this reason.

"But one thing you can ALWAYS count on, is that Laz would hit it."

Well at least there’s one thing still consistent here :^)

Multifactor authentication on a phone can be set up to work with face recognition and/or fingerprint. Multifactor authentication with Windows Hello works the same way. It’s a lot easier on the eyes than using a password.

Take it from someone who’s visually impaired and who’s been using accessibility software for over 25 years.

You don’t have to give MFA your phone number if it’s set up right.

The way I’ve set it up - the app generates a unique code representing your username and password, that is 512 bit encrypted, and creates a QR code from it. You scan the QR code into the authenticator app on your phone, and it sends the combined QR+emei encrypted in the other direction.

This way, your phone doesn’t even know what the code does, and the website doesn’t have your phone number.

If you unlock your phone while the authenticator app is waiting for MFA, the app recognises that as proof it’s your phone and biometrics. Sends a message to the MFA server, which then sends “yes, it’s him” to the website.

But when you log in, the authenticator service broadcasts the mfa challenge and only one phone can reply to it.

This ‘old man’ has to acknowledge the advancement of technology for nefarious purposes.

There are times when my posts were taken down and I felt bad used other means.

Don’t feel the need to do that anymore.

Thanks, Laz. I’ve also noticed this and even mentioned it at least once.

For me, the most obvious situation involved a poster with whom I had numerous in-depth conversations many years ago. This person was indeed among the nicest and most honorable of individuals that you could ever hope to meet. That same poster recently said that they didn’t believe that they had ever communicated with me. They are also currently among the vilest of posters on this site.

Just seems too much to believe that it is the same person.

Please not once a month

Please?

As we age, once a month is like the middle of last week!

The newest thing for the FR NeverTrumpers is to attack J.D. Vance, since they're not being booted off for doing that - YET.

In this way, they can indirectly attack Trump.

The cucks was using that line of attack yesterday.

I'd suggest a retina scan at login, but that would take forever at dial-up connection speeds.

I love the platform. the best for short answers or long interesting conversations. I pray that the back rooms get upgraded while the WYSIWYG stay the same. With perhaps a yes no or ability to respond to the whole thread.

Tell me wasn’t there a visit counter to the threads back in the day???
