It’s a fable full of cognitive dissonance: a black female attacker and a black female victim. The local NAACP has chosen eternal victimhood. Local authorities have chosen sportsmanship and the law. We’ll see which prevails.

Anyone remember Roger Clemens throwing the ball at the runner who was going to make it to 1st base? That was on him and no one made excuses. My favorite was Ron Artest starting a riot over the beer poured on him. A woke ESPN played it over and over again. Despite always standing up for the black athlete the continuous replays showed their contempt along with their pull for ratings.
The MSM loves this kinda stuff. It works for them and a Lott others.
We’re being played.
Baseball memory.
On August 22, 1965, during a game between the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers, pitcher Juan Marichal hit catcher John Roseboro with a baseball bat, leading to a bench-clearing brawl known as the “Battle of Candlestick”. 2015 ESPN story:
...Marichal was ejected and Roseboro left the game injured (he would need 14 stitches to close the gash on his head). Roseboro would miss the next two games before returning to action. Marichal was suspended for eight game days (10 games because of doubleheaders) and fined a then-record $1,750 (which translates to about $15,000 today {2015}). Roseboro would sue Marichal for $110,000 in damages, and the case was eventually settled with Roseboro receiving $7,500.
Roseboro wasn’t the only one to sustain an injury in the melee. After being tackled by Crawford and disarmed, Marichal defended himself from the ground with kicks. He spiked Dodgers reliever Howie Reed in the thigh and Johnson in the ankle. Crawford’s hand was cut when somebody stepped on it.

I was watching the 30th Anniversary documentary on OJ’s criminal trial the other day, and it reminded me how large segments of the black population misunderstand the justice system. They interpret it as a team sport. Not a highly structured rules based process that attempts to adduce facts and facilitate decisions based on the application of the law to the facts, but an “us versus them” process, much like rooting for athletic teams. Sad to see it, but it’s there, everyday.
In this instance, it is impulse control and awareness of the context in which you are operating. Which are totally lacking.
August, 1965. Riots in Watts(LA) and a civil war in the Dominican Republic.
Marichal ended up playing for the Dodgers.

Facts/application of the law. Education is designed to fix it.
The problem: 95% of EDUCATED blacks(4 year degrees) though t OJ was set up.
Watched a few minutes of The Five. That resident leftist Jessica Tarlov incredibly said she viewed angles of the hit by the baton and thinks it was an accident.
The others acted like “we put up with you but not this time” and groaned in disbelief.
I want her off the air. Does me no good but I’m being honest.
Yes, some males at the network find her somewhat good looking but her thin lips, her terribly screechy voice and wearing running shoes as a slap against men liking to see high heels, allow her a salary of $1 Million a year and a net worth of $18 Million (partly from a huge inheritance) mean she has favor and is staying.

You don’t argue with a man with a bat in his hand.
Ha. True.
Those people at the Chinese bioweapons research lab in Wuhan should have heeded that.
U R funny.
My humble thanks.
The attacker was in an N-word state of mind and she just happens to be black.
If it had been a jab in the kidney with the baton I could see it as an accident. She lifted her arm up above her shoulder and swung downward in a motion that never happens in a relay. That was an attack on someone she saw as passing her and leaning into her lane.
