Liberals are drawn to soccer precisely because it is one of the few remaining venues where American exceptionalism does not prevail. So a slogan which is a nod to soccer balls, somehow is deemed offensive to a transsexual player, and it’s because someone is hinting at a vulgar reference to male body parts?

And this transsexual player who claims to be female is in possession of said body parts? Is that what the outrage is about?

Sometimes I have trouble understanding exactly what it is I’m supposed to be outraged about.

That DEI mentality is baked deep into the American social culture - for certain groups and individuals.
It’s going to take a long time and a lot of challenging to remove the hold this mindset has over many, many organizations.

If the Trans are so concerned about a Women’s soccer team’s name, why don’t those particular Trans get together and form their own team, and stop trying to morph, mangle or mutate what’s meant to be a fun passtime?
Next, they will demand that Women’s team create a position for a Trans representative, or Trans Minder.

"Feels transphobic. Yikes," Quinn wrote. The team quickly abandoned the slogan, issued a public apology for it, and even thanked those who spoke out against it.

Note that it suffices to remark off-handedly that it FEELS offensive!

Not "is explicitly and demonstrably" - rather, just "feels."

And then the immediate falling-over-oneself to apologize... Sickening!
