Windy as heck here in SW Wisconsin, today. Storm is heading towards us for the evening hours. :(

We’re battening down the hatches!

The link above shows wind, but you can change it to other weather-related activity using the menu to the right once you’re at the Windy.com page.

That’s the same storm that got us a severe storm warning in Texas and we were pelted by sunshine and shivering in the low 80s (ac was blasting). National Weather Service missed it big time in Texas. We’ll see if they got it right further east. Right now there are a couple of lines of storms in eastern Arkansas, but nothing in the southeast.

Everything is pointing to a really bad day on Saturday over S. Miss and here in (virtually all of) Alabama.

James Spann is worried...and that make me worry. Normally bad weather doesn’t bother me. I find it a bit exciting and would love to do some storm chasing (if only I were younger...lol). Spann has me a little spooked on this one. I have HUGE pine trees in front, back, and one side of house. Hope they keep standing!

Ugh, I am almost center (W-E) in the swath of Level 4, as it is. A bit south of center. Not looking forward to this evening. High wind risk (70 mph or higher) is so high as to be near certain. NWS says some storms themselves will be moving at ~70 mph.
