Donald Trump has issued his most explicit threat to Vladimir Putin so far, telling the Russian President he can do "very bad things" to Russia financially if he does not accept a US-brokered ceasefire. Mr Trump told reporters in Washington: "There are things that wouldn't be pleasant in a financial sense. I can do things financially that would be very bad for Russia. I don't want to do it that because I want to get peace."

Putin is going to jail with hillary! Rudy has the receipts. Then we are going to buy greenland. Hamas had 24 hours and then hell would rain down if all the hostages weren’t released. I must have missed the raining hell. Oh my god. What the hell. Is this AI??
Sometimes they are bluffs and sometimes not.
Boy this is going to put the usuals in a pickle
Not at 10% like we've been doing the entire time under Biden just so everyone can get rich off due to corruption.
Threatening Russia hasn’t worked out for others in the past.
My favorite was “15 days to slow the spread.” He held up a little sign.
Unless he’s talking about seizing frozen Russian assets, which Putin has probably already figured in the war’s costs, I don’t know what Trump thinks he can do. Russia is already sanctioned out the wazoo, unless he has plans with MBS to have the Saudis replace Russian (and Iranian) oil on world markets.
Doubling down on Biden's failed sanction strategy would be a disaster.
The better approach is to work to lift sanctions and resume favorable trade with the Russians.
But, there is no chance the Russians end the war without Ukraine conceding all annexed territory, renouncing NATO membership and agreeing to remain neutral.
Anybody have any ideas as to what he might do that has not already been done?
Trump isn’t going to undermine the economy by doubling down on Biden’s failed sanction war.
Decoupling India from BRICS would be the most devastating thing we could do to “BRCS”. Trump already cut off aid to racist South Africa, it’s a good start.
Into the cornfield, melon man!
Hello Brother
Not sure what undermining would occur, but regardless we will see.
The ball is in putins court.
You are confused, 🍈 is a complement. As in Jon has a huge 🍈😂
Get back in your cage, Melon Man. I’ll rattle it when I want you.
“Threatening Russia hasn’t worked out for others in the past.”
Exactly, Russia is going to YAWN at any more threats from the West as they’ve already EASILY handled the hardest ‘sanctions’ that the Neocons could come up with - even to the point of blowing up their own pipeline.
Bottom line is that Russia has almost everything they need and the rest they can buy from China. Hard to see why Russia would at all worry about what Trump might do.
