Life, Liberty & Levin - Sunday, March 9

I heard this yesterday on the radio. I thought it an exception show by Levin. I have heard his shows before but this one I thought well written. Hoping ones will listen to the broadcast, it is only online for 14 days I believe. I wish I could find a transcript to print but I could not.

Under the main heading it says, “SCOTUS, Israel-Hamas, Democrats” but he was discussing the differences between Republicans and Democrats.

He began, “ You know when I was growing up Sunday nights were really important. Important for the family, really wonderful times. We’d gather around the tv from time to time and we’d watch some of the best television that existed. I remember watching Milton Freedman, Free to chose, Bill Buckley, so many other great shows. They taught me so much. Ronald Reagan, Thomas Sowell, I try to use this show not identically to that I am not one of the greats like they were. I try to reach a little deeper so you are not just getting basically what you’ve gotten all week, which is wonderful. You do not need it from me. What I watch President Trump’s outstanding speech I think to myself, as you were, what a bunch of immature individuals. And then he got to thinking more, these are elected Representatives to the House of Representatives. They have voters. It’s about half the body of the House of Representatives. How can it be that week, you and I see things so differently than they do? How is it possible that we see it one way and they and the press see it a different way. So I thought tonight let’s take a look at this. Let’s take a look at this.

We have a completely different and opposite idea of power and the law. So what are these differences? Why do they hate you and me so much? Why do they call President Trump Hitler? Why do they call us NeoNazi’s? Why do they attack the real originals on the Supreme Court? Why do they attack the Constitution? They use racism every other word. They use Hitler every other word. What’s wrong with these people? They are trained to build something that does not exist. That is ideological, and a ideology that is not the basis of our own founding. To confound the law and power (ultimately?) government. They exercise power through through the law. For us the law is exercised to contain power. They skirt, usurp, alter the Constitution because it provides barriers, for what they want to do. So they attack the people who wrote it. They smear them. They reject the document itself.”

There is much more and it gets pretty interesting beyond that. I just listened to the broadcast and wrote this as it went along. Not an easy thing to do.

I honestly thought I should do the whole thing, wondered if I’d get in trouble because of a copyright thing, then my dog came and put his head on my lap asking to go out and truthfully I had to take him out and stop there but this broadcast I thought was quite good and worth mentioning.

I know we are all aware of this duplicity by the left and the agenda but Levin put it so well I wanted to put it here.

It’s a very good show and I’m flattered for your going to watch it and your recognition of the work it took from me. It really was a labor of love, I guess you could say.

I just listened to Mark Levin’s monologue. He laid it out well. They don’t like the ideology of the Founding Fathers. They feel that they alone know what’s best and want to run things; they don’t trust the rabble to be able to do it. They believe in big government and established a bureaucracy of unelected officials who will keep the government expanding and enforcing regulations so they always remain in power.

I will have to finish the rest of the program later since I have some things to do. Thanks again for highlighting his show.
