A mob of trans rights activists decided to protest a community education council meeting by performing an out-of-rhythm version of the Macarena.
The group of about 100 people descended on the Community Education Council for District 2 meeting in Manhattan, New York on February 26, and were caught on video silently performing the 90s dance hit as a woman spoke out against female athletes having to compete against biological males, according to the New York Post.
'I am here to speak up for the female athletes who are intimidated by this nonsense that is occurring behind me, all the dancing and bufoonery,' Jo Vitale said as rows of protesters could be seen in cringeworthy videos posted online performing the routine in slow motion.
At other times during the meeting, the group interrupted and even heckled speakers, the Post reports.
They were also seen blowing bubbles, and at one point a protester rushed the stage and sat down at the council members' dais.
Such disruptions have become common place at the council meetings since the advisory board passed a resolution last year calling for the New York City Department of Education to review its policy allowing students to play on teams according to the gender they identify with, according to the Post.
But as the months passed, the demonstrations have gotten increasingly disruptive, with the trans activists rallying beforehand and bringing doughnuts to the meetings.

I always wonder, do these activists really think their histrionics cause people to support their cause? Do they really think this endears more people to the cause, than the number of people they alienate from their cause?
Or another way to think of this, is their goal to try to gain support from normal people, or is it to just be distruptive for the heck of it?
They actually believe it will get them supporters...................

Its symptomatic of America’s marxist governing ideology - they must forever be pushing the boundaries of both group identity and “civil rights” discovery, into the infinite future.
One transgenderism is normalized - if that’s even possible, one shudder’s to think of the next “oppressed identity” which will be discovered. Given gender/sex are the focus, we can only assume it will be pedophilia.

Rather, it's a matter of wanting attention, any attention.
They made the international press and you're talking about it. To them a win.
City council is to blame, just like the parents of these losers.
If you permit this sort of crappola to go on without insisting that some examples go to jail for weeks — you deserve this.
This style of protest is also more common because it's cheaper than the big AstroTurf crap Soros and friends used to pay for... not as many people to hire...

I think “activists” are a type of terrorist. The reason for a terror attack is not what people assume. It’s to advertise, recruit, and get funding. The issue is, the “activists” where actually trained on college campuses to support what the rest of us might call antisocial or antiwestern, or just antinormal activities and philosophies. There don’t appear to be any ideological thinkers or leaders to their uncoordinated activities. They were taught get a sign, get loud, do dangerous or disruptive things. That’s the extent of it. Imagine how effective they might be if they had an actual social engineer. The closest they had was Saul Alinsky. Fortunately, he’s dead. His mantel was taken up by people like Barak Obama who is slightly more intelligent than a goldfish.
All I can say, to the activists, is, “Hey, do more activism. Get into people’s faces and tell them what you want to do to their children.” I’m going to take a nap.
They are exercising their right to act stupidly.
