If you read the article and not the byline, you’ll see they are not creating a one size fits all locker and changing facility, they are installing privatized caballas for changing. You could equate that to the family room changing room in many locker facilities. So they aren’t adding the area for co-mingling of genders, they are setting aside an area to privatize changing so as to separate the gender inclusions.

Too bad it has to replace the old and proven locker room assignment based upon gender of which there are only two, with funds that could have been used for education material to include added buildings. Instead of taking the same stand done by their ancestors, they are throwing money at it, that they don’t have, to appease the minority.
