When local standard time was about to reach Sunday, March 9, 2025, 2:00:00 am clocks were turned forward 1 hour to Sunday, March 9, 2025, 3:00:00 am local daylight time instead.

Sunrise and sunset were about 1 hour later on Mar 9, 2025 than the day before. There was more light in the evening and less light in the morning.

Some of my clocks updated by themselves some did not, so I thought I'd post this reminder.

Each of has a preference I guess. But when the clocks are set forward tomorrow I want it to stay that way and not set the clocks back in the fall.

Thanks. I set our microwave and stove clocks ahead before I went to bed. Now I’m up, it’s 3:41 AM CDT because I couldn’t sleep, lol.

You know how when they came up with overlapping area codes, we completely did away with the fiction of any geographic relevance. We should do the same thing with time zones. There will be one universal time zone for the entire country and territories. Then you can choose to change your time zone and just like everybody will tell their pronouns, you will also tell your area codes and time zones. Maybe even zip codes because why should everybody be stuck in a particular zip code? Any questions?
