Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy arrested on domestic assault charge in Texas

The 21-year-old Worthy was charged with assault of a family or house member and impeding the breathing or circulation, which is a third-degree felony assault charge that “is committed by intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly impeding the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of the person by applying pressure to the person’s throat or neck or by blocking the person’s nose or mouth.”

As an Eagles fan I always thought Andy Reid was the sort of guy that would take a stand and not allow abusive people on his team. I watched with confusion as his sons started having very public problems with drugs etc and he just kept working 18 hour days 7 days a week like it wasn't a thing. Then he went to KC and gave a pass to Tyreek Hill who was on tape threatening his wife when she mentioned that he broke his sons arm - ON TAPE - and I realized I was wrong about him.
Worthy will help Reid win, ergo he will get a pass.
