Now Trump turns on PUTIN as he issues crippling threat & demands Russia ‘get to table right NOW’ to end war in Ukraine

US President Trump has threatened Putin with "large-scale" sanctions and tariffs as he demands Russia to "get to the table right now before it's too late".

It comes as Zelensky proposed an aerial truce with Moscow after the "massive" overnight missile blitz on Ukraine's energy grid.

Trump has issued his strongest condemnation yet of Putin's actions and threatened to impose sanctions and tariffs on Russia following a devastating overnight blast in Ukraine.

In the latest unpredictable move from the Republican, he said on Truth Social: "Based on the fact that Russia is absolutely 'pounding' Ukraine on the battlefield right now, I am strongly considering large scale Banking Sanctions, Sanctions, and Tariffs on Russia until a Cease Fire and FINAL SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT ON PEACE IS REACHED.

"To Russia and Ukraine, get to the table right now, before it is too late. Thank you!!!"

The post stunned many, given Trump’s history of warm rhetoric toward Mad Vlad Putin.

His past comments often fuelled speculation that he was siding with Moscow, and he has previously cast doubt on continued US support for Ukraine.

But this latest statement now marks a decisive pivot, suggesting Trump is now willing to exert economic pressure on Russia.

What makes this shift even more surprising is Trump’s long-running feud with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Trump’s always been up to putting pressure on Putin, especially by doing things to drive down the price of oil.

Not that the lib media ever wanted to highlight that fact in between all their bs.

Just yesterday I heard that Trump was bosom buddies with Putin by every globalist western rag out there. And I will also mention that our stable of Biden loving zeepers parrot the same nonsense.

None of them understand what is going on.

None of them understand what is going on. It is called “Trump”. A very much not understood means to a certain outcome.

This false dichotomy between Putin and Zelensky is a red herring. Both are tyrannical dictators, and there is no choice between them for thinking persons. Two bad actors have to be brought to the table, and soon. This is analogous to the situation that existed between Imperial Russia and Imperial Japan in 1905, when those two naval powers went to war over control of what is now Manchuria, with the Japanese kicking the Russians out of the region entirely. That dispute was settled in part by the intervention of the US President Theodore Roosevelt, who cracked heads together until a settlement was worked out.

That earned Roosevelt the Nobel Peace Prize of the time.

I support this, but if he wants to get Russia to the table and make come concessions, his bashing Ukraine over the last few weeks makes these outcomes less likely. Trump is erratic.

This is what negotiations look like

The rather childish idea the Alt Left media machine has come up with that Trump has to be either on Putin’s side or Zelensky’s side is just silly

Apparently Trump is the only adult in the room realizing peace must be the goal. This war is damaging everyone except China. For the US, Russian and European economies to heal this fiasco must end.

When you heading towards peace negotiations, both sides will make a concerted effort to gain advantages on the battlefield.

What makes this shift even more surprising

It is only surprising for people who swallow the cartoonish narratives created by the big media organizations.

Of course it will be necessary for President Trump to put a great deal of pressure on the Russians, like the Ukrainians, to get them to agree to a peace deal.

If the Russians decide that they are not willing to make the concessions necessary for peace and the war is back on, hopefully after all the big talk by the Europeans in recent weeks about how much they want to support Ukraine's war efforts they will massively up their military support.

They should have started three years ago with massive investments in new plants to produce military equipment, in particular huge numbers of artillery shells and air defense missiles. But better late than never.

Putin made a big miscalculation last night with his mass missile attack on Ukraine.
