Easter is about Christ’s resurrection and victory over death. Jesus is The Bright and Morning Star.
Everything else melts in in significance like a candy bar left in the radiance of the Son.
Like Christmas becoming about Santa, reindeer, and wrapping paper, governments, public buildings and schools, media, and corporations, are morphing Easter into a generic “holiday” of bunnies and colored eggs, as the old die off, future generations will be celebrating generic holidays of cartoon figures and kids play with no known meaning.

Eggs have long been associated with Easter and the risen Christ. They are used in both Orthodox and western Christian practices.
