Would you care to explain how devotion to the Constitution is feeling like a democrat?

If an amendment is ratified it’s in the Constitution. So things pertaining to it are Constitutional. It was once Constitutional to ban the sale and consumption of liquor. True because in a fit of stupidity the US passed an amendment banning such things. Later reason prevailed and it was undone. Idiot ideas can be Constitutional if you can get them in there. They’re still idiotic and they’re Constitutional.

Should a public employee with $150,000 in overtime in 2026 pay no federal income tax on that?

$150,000 in overtime? Damn! How many OT hours did this imaginary fed employee work?

So...you don’t want experienced police on duty? Your comment is simply ignorant.

There are plenty of decent, hard working government employees. I just think they should pay taxes.

And by the way...you are paying for him while he is currently deployed. I should figure out what part of that you pay...and send it back to you.

Yep because the 1st place Alt Leftist city governments look to cut is police and fire so they can give more hand outs to their voters. Same problem in London. Rather then hire enough cops they work the ones employed to death

Wrong

These get all that overtime because the 1st place Alt Leftist city governments do is slash the police and fire department budgets so they can hand out money to their voters. It a problem everywhere as was shown in LA during the fires.

So...you don’t want experienced police on duty?

Not when they're double and triple dipping into taxpayer dollars.

Why not overtime? Basically the full amount of your normal pay is taxed, the 1/2 extra you get for overtime should not be taxed. It an incentive for more productivity from the work force

Wow now the DeSantis bots, in order to find an excuse to whine about what Trump is doing again today, are advocating for taxation.

Why don’t you all just quit lying and admit your no different then the Alt Left. It will never matter to any of you what Trump does, you will race here every day to whine about it.

I’m not worried about my job going away. I work for a large real estate company in Dallas. Each property requires a partnership return, as well as annual registrations, franchise tax returns, and personal property tax returns. Our “tax season” runs from January 2nd to October 15th. Thankfully, we’ve grown from 3 to 7 employees over the past two years.

You can try and simplify individual returns all you want, but business returns will always be complicated.

Read post 53.

Because the plan is only 99% good we should do nothing. That is the argument you are making today. It is irrational.

What the real motivation? Jealous because you are salaried? Still whining because Trump won the GOP nomination?

Stop posturing and admit what is really motivating you to post such absurdities

LOL. Very funny.

I’m all for cutting taxes - for everyone - not just for a lucky few.
