Health experts wary as US health secretary fails to endorse effective vaccines and instead calls them a ‘personal choice’
Robert F Kennedy Jr, the US health secretary, has caused alarm among pediatricians, vaccine experts and lawmakers with an opinion piece that focuses on vitamin A and nutrition as treatments for measles.
In response to a measles outbreak in Texas, which resulted in the first American measles death in nearly a decade, Kennedy wrote for Fox News about the benefits of “good nutrition” and vitamin A – but did not explicitly recommend highly effective vaccines.
“In fact, relying on vitamin A instead of the vaccine is not only dangerous and ineffective, but it puts children at serious risk,” Dr Sue Kressly, the president of the American Academy of Pediatrics, told the Washington Post.

Kennedy’s actions also sparked outrage from Elizabeth Warren, the Democratic Massachusetts senator who demanded Kennedy clarify his “intentions” for US vaccine policy in a Monday letter.
“These are dangerous times for public health,” Warren wrote, according to CNN, citing a difficult flu season and the dangers of the H5N1 strain known as bird flu. “Your irresponsible and reckless efforts to undermine the nation’s vaccine policy threaten to fan the flames of disaster.”

No.
The deaths stopped almost entirely before the vax
Today the vax for measles kills more people than measles
In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled RFK Jr sparks alarm after backing vitamins to treat measles amid outbreak, Retrofitted wrote: |
He did what now? "In response to this outbreak, I have directed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to work closely with the Texas health authorities to provide comprehensive support. HHS’ efforts include offering technical assistance, laboratory support, vaccines, and therapeutic medications as needed." ransomnote: He's not going to withhold them - the public would be panicked when the medical regime started screaming, 'JFK Jr. is trying to kill you!' like Pelosi did, when she stood up and told Americans President Trump is trying to murder Americans, based on his advice and attitude. It takes a lot of data and process to withdraw a 'vaccine', particularly when the medical regime would be screaming he's not a doctor. |
Polio existed long before the so called 'epidemic'... Which was in fact caused by clean water systems installed in the later part of the 19th and early 20th centuries... All water in most rivers was formerly as filthy as the Ganges in India is right now. So people were typically exposed to the Polio virus from birth when they drank and swam in that filthy water. Then clean water systems started being installed. A decade or so after the installation of these clean water systems, the 'polio epidemic' started. When they started vaccinating people it ended... And it's still a scourge in places like Pakistan and parts of India, where clean water systems were installed more recently.
So if you do decide to travel... Make sure you take lots of vitamins before you go to these areas.
I had regular measles twice and German measles once. No damage from them, just had to take time off from school on the last one, which was the worst one for me. Could only listen to Star Trek, had to stay in dimly lit rooms, and the spots took a longer time to disappear. No vaccines back then, or the Air Force would’ve insisted.
Kennedy’s stance seems to be take vitamins to help the immune system, not as a replacement for a measles vaccination, leaving that up to the parents. Nothing wrong with that.
The kid had rsv and pneumonia and already and docs then gave the vaccine. I’d call it a vaccine death if anything, definately didn’t die of measles
Pediatricians, vaccine experts and lawmakers are educated in a system of teaching by instruction.
They don’t know how to learn by experience or intuition, which is why they’re so clueless.
Moderna took a more traditional approach which resulted in a safer and more effective vaccine.
Totally false.
Sanitation almost eliminated these diseases before the vaccines were used.
And the vaccines both now kill more people and create chronic illnesses and autoimmune.
Growing up in the 50s, everyone got the measles, and got over it. Back then we all had what were called the “childhood illnesses” ie chickenpox, measles, and mumps. No vaccines available, no “treatment’ either—just rest, and probably vitamins would have helped a bit. But we all just got them, passed them around, and life went on. No idea why all of a sudden measles is this scary menace to humanity. It feels like global warming.
Wasn’t really all that long ago that measles was still a significant health issue - heck, we even had a pResident that had it... and I won’t say ANYTHING ELSE on the subject.
More vaccines have killed people than saved people thanks to the covid vaccine, which continues to kill people for years to come.
*****Here is a fantastic compare and contrast about measles from when we were growing up, until today’s insanity.*****

That might be the most amazing comparison 67 seconds that I have ever seen.
When I was little when one of the neighbor kids got a childhood disease the Moms would send us over to play with them so we would be exposed to it and develop natural immunity.
I thought I’d already seen everything.
But you’ve managed to get the jab lunatic fringe to claim that the polio vaccine didn’t work.
Good work!
Ask the American Indians about trusting the government and giving up your weapons.
No. The measles vaccine is a live attenuated virus that is usually administered as a component of the MMR vaccine in childhood.
We can’t have that!
Vitamin A only costs 5 cents a dose!
Who can make money from that??!!
My sister talked me into getting a flu shot when they were first introduced. And then I caught the flu. That was about 30 or 40 years ago, and I haven’t had flu since.
My very smart doctor told me I didn’t need a covid vax. Didn’t get covid, but my friend who had the shot and all boosters had it four times, once so seriously I had to go shopping for her and bring groceries to her door.
Guess that makes me one of those awful anti-vaxers.
I would have to read the piece before I could comment.
I think Pharma ads on TV should be banned.
Your own doctor should be the one to advise drugs or not. My MD doesn’t believe in most of them, never recommended on to me.
