Someone must have told Biden this.

Even back in 1997 he was still too stupid to see his hand in front of his face.

Not just a side effect — that was the whole point.

Biden was just doing what he had always done since the 80s when he, John Kerry, and Tip O’Neil were doing their best to assist Sandinista Daniel Ortega and the Soviets in establishing a Russian military presence in Nicaragua...repeat Russian talking points.

It wasn’t being prescient, it was mere parroting.

And since the 1960s the US has had Russian listening stations, ships and missiles and so on just offshore Florida, within sight.
They use the Cubans to train American revolutionaries and terrorists including the Venceremos Brigades and Separatists.

Their surrogates even bombed our radio station in the Keys, shot down civilian American planes, and supported a network of spies targeting our power stations down here.

Maybe we should just taken a page from Putin’s playbook and violently annex Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to prevent Russian expansionism.

Further proof that the Democrats don’t give a s___ about Ukraine, it’s all about Orange Man Bad.

If Trump was actually sending arms to Ukraine, they’d call him a “Warmonger.”

The article plays word games with the word “force,” equating voluntary tactics with the word when in fact no force is involved, nor even the threat of force.

So let’s play the Russian word game for a moment. There is more evidence of actual force when the word is applied to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. These countries were “forced” by Russia to join NATO, having previously been invaded by their Russian neighbor and occupied for decades. Actual force was used against them, causing the reaction of joining NATO at the first opportunity after years of suffering Russian occupation and domination. Russia would squeal in protest over that observation, but it is much closer to the truth that the idea that Russia has been forced to invade, kill and conquer what are in fact harmless neighbors.

So let’s quit the Russian-Marxist word games. Russia wasn’t “forced” to do anything- Russian leadership desired aggression was worth the risk precisely because the countries Russia attacks are unable to deter Russian aggression. Now NATO and the US DO have some responsibility for taking Ukraine’s only effective means of deterring Russian attack, the nuclear weapons left by USSR occupiers.

None of the Baltic states threatened Russia and none are able to. Same goes for any country bordering Russia including Ukraine, (except the US, where we meet at the Bering straight and could, but never would, attack Russia; and though it’s old nemesis Japan is just across a bit of water, it is certainly no threat to Russia any more.) The Russians are still occupying Japanese territory, not vice versa, demonstrating that peace and reconciliation is not a priority of a Russian leader except in meaningless word salads meant to deceive others long enough to grab more land. As always, Russia is the threat, usually the only threat to every country it borders, not the other way around.

Like a greedy man or glutton, or a mythical dragon hoarding treasure it has no use for, Russia is the largest country in the world and will still never be satisfied with what it has, nor be able to set aside it’s mental problems long enough to put its land to good use. It is addicted to to collecting and hoarding more, and childishly and dangerously entitled.

So the way you show a group of Euronations who spent about 2-3% of their GDP on military that there was no warrant for its force was by invading a neighboring country in two stages. Perfectly logical.
