British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Sunday European leaders had agreed to draw up a Ukraine peace plan to take to the United States, a vital step for Washington to be able to offer security guarantees Kyiv says are vital to deter Russia.

At a summit in London just two days after Volodymyr Zelenskiy clashed with U.S. President Donald Trump and cut short a visit to Washington, world leaders offered a strong show of support to the Ukrainian president and promised to do more to help his nation.

European leaders agreed they must spend more on defence to show Trump the continent can protect itself. And the European Commission chief, with many EU nations struggling with already stretched public finances, suggested the bloc could ease its rules that limit debt levels.

Let NATO without the U.S. as a member make security guarantees to Ukraine.

Hopefully you’ll move to Ukraine and do an audit to find out where all our tax dollars went.

"Boomer heads"

Please don't plop all of us boomers into the same pot as the morons who have been pushing this war these past four years.

But in the end, we must never forget that it was Trump who was the force who instigated the path to peace.

Absolutely, (if we're really on a path do peace). It seems to be true though that the Democrats and most of the Europeans would rather see the war's killings continue than to give President Trump credit for stopping it.

What a big help: drawing up the plan Zelenskyy wants to drag US lives and resources into war with Russia that he provokes. If they want peace, they are next door and they can handle it.

Tell them they can stick it where the sun don’t shine. Furthermore, we need to quit NATO and bring home all of our military and every piece of equipment that is not nailed down, and burn down all of the rest. No more American forces should ever fight a war on behalf of Europeans. I have two words for them, and those words are not Happy Birthday. Long live President Donald Trump!

Russia denounced communism?

Yes, I was there to help it fall.   Let them come after me for telling this, but I'm old.   I attended a mandatory briefing presented by intelligence agencies in 1978 at our base theater overseas for everyone that held a Top Secret security clearance.   We were told that the Soviet Union was on it's last legs and would inevitably collapse, along with the detailed Top Secret evidence in multiple categories.   Over the next years we watched it come to pass exactly as they said it would.

As for Putin, he was a young KGB officer, one of a small cadre of Russians that were taught the truth about our American way of life.   He had to envy our cornucopia of plenty when he was sent to Western nations.   The collapse of the Communist Soviet Union, has allowed Putin to a degree, to Americanize Russian culture and incorporate elements of Capitalism.

He is not going to resurrect the Soviet Union.   He wants to be like us, not destroy us, and thank God that President Trump knows this.

I wish you were wise enough to exorcise the ghosts haunting you from fifty years ago.

Now don't get me wrong, President Putin is still wary of you senseless Warmongers in the USA, presenting the danger of nuking Russia with no warning.   That is the reason he had to act against the belligerent saber rattling of the Rinos and Democrats in Ukraine.

---- "UK, European leaders join forces to draft Ukraine peace plan to take to US"

Draft a strongly worded letter, that's the spirit! now in the real world....

500 million Europeans are asking 300 million Americans to defend them against 140 million Russians. [...] Europe today lacks the belief that we are truly a global force.”

Polish PM Donald Tusk, speaking before his flight to London for the European Ukraine summit:

UK and European leaders want to follow....

The Trump administration needs to make it known that any European “peace” deal is DOA.

“What part of MAGA do these fools not understand. Ukraine is not our problem.”

It’s not Trump they have to satisfy. It’s the American people. We want an end to the war and no US involvement.

But in the end, we must never forget that it was Trump who was the force who instigated the path to peace.

Here's a possibility though:

-- Zelenski comes to his senses and wants peace.

-- Zelenski and Starmer go to the White House where the mineral deal is signed.

-- Trump soon gets an agreement with Putin for a cease-fire.

-- Starmer wins the Nobel Peace Prize.

“””Starmer wins the Nobel Peace Prize.”””

Yes, that would be a strong possibility given the deep dislike the Left has for Trump.
