After Americans saved Europe three times in the last 100+ years we think it's Europe's time to step up now. Europe is closer to Ukraine than America is and we've already made a major contribution to its defense.

Thanks for the post RKV. In his own way, Trump may have brought Europe together.

When it comes to Europe, it’s a matter of money more than population. It’s not 1945 anymore. Europe is now wealthy enough to take care of its own defense concerns.

If they want our involvement as a mediator, fine. But not a single American taxpayer dollar should be involved.

My Norwegian cousin does not like Trump. Below is an excerpt from an email yesterday. According to my cousin Europe can only be our allies if we send them a bunch of money.

“””It is noted: The Marshall Assistance 80 years ago created a strong alliance and friendship between the United States and war-torn Europe.
Regardless of motive and intention, the President is now actively and purposefully working to make the United States friendless. . “””

I only disagree with ONE of your words. I think it would be more accurate if it read, "... we've already made THE major contribution to its defense". I think our contribution has been more than the other countries contributions combined. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That is pretty funny. Was that fever dream had before all the Euros flew to America professing their ‘special relationship’ with the United States?

Likewise, collective European gdp is 15% higher than the US and 9 times higher than Russia

Tell your cousin to eat some lutefisk and ponder whether anyone who is your friend because you pay them to be can actually be called a friend.

Hello Fellow Presbyterian, Many europeans retain a high level of trust in their mainstream media. More is the pity. IMO, their governments operate like our Democrat Party. My cousins in Czechia, are of a different mind given their experience with communism. They are very critical of mass media.

I imagine parasites don’t like it when they get cut off. Too bad. Anyway, I haven’t seen this level of virtue signaling in a very long time.

WEF-Globohomo-socialism Comintern is based in Western Europe.

They need to tie the USA to their globalist plans. The Democrats and the deep-state are their agents in the USA. Russia is just the pretext

I believe that’s how Donald Trump sees the world

Spot on! Thanks for posting.

And why should we keep giving our hard-earned money to people who hate us?

My pleasure. It appears to me that what Trump is about is a return to the Monroe Doctrine.

All our "friends" are money-grubbing deadbeats, though.
