Could the lunch menu at the White House explain the reason for Zelensky's lousy attitude? I am thinking that because I just now saw via CNN.com what was on the menu for after the meeting. Here it is:
"White House chefs were at work in the West Wing on Friday laying out plates of rosemary chicken, celery root puree and collard greens when the sound of raised voices began floating over from the Oval Office."
Hey, I'm not a fussy eater but that lunch menu doesn't sound exactly appetizing. I knew they were going to have lunch so envisioned something like smoked salmon and pecan pie. Did Zelensky know in advance what was on the lunch menu and could this explain in part his poor attitude or maybe that lousy attitude is a permanent part of his character.
That lunch sounds way too healthy for me.
Bacon Cheeseburger and fries, please!

I used to live near a restaurant called “Healthy Chicken” and, yeah, the chicken they served was healthy (I think). The problem was it had little taste. That operation didn’t last long. Then a few years later I tasted my first Pollo Loco and... WOW! Grilled and healthy (I think).
I’d tear up the check if somebody served that at a wedding. Celery puree? WTF? Just serve dirty water. If I hated my guest and was broke, I would serve rosemary chicken and collard greens.
That lunch menu was sending a message.

It was planned to just have a signing ceremony, lunch, then discussion. Unfortunately, Zelinsky inserted himself during the signing ceremony.
Could also have been a translation error when Zelensky’s subordinates reported back that the menu stated that desert would be served after everyone had emptied their bowels of soup.
Z is Jewish so it had better be KOSHER!
That sounds gross. Well except for the collards. 😉
Rosemary Chicken sounds ok. Ribs and BBQ beans sounds even better.

I have seen pictures of folk in this country going tribal over food.
Lot of fast food rage has been caught on camera in the mostly peaceful urban centers of America.
Zelensky is a potted meat and crackers kind of guy with a tall glass of root beer Kool-Aid.
Zelensky didn’t want lunch he needed to get out for his next fix.

Celery root, also known as celeriac, is the bulbous root
I think you might like celeriac or what is commonly called celery root. It has a different flavor than the celery sticks you’re familiar with. It’s really good. And slow roasted lemon rosemary chicken is wonderful. Guests always go for seconds.
Well, I do like celery salt.
