I question your history, for likening Saddam’s forces to Nazi’s and elevating Russians as superior is absurd. Germans were overall very dedicated soldiers, many fanatical, and for whom retreat was often forbidden, but they were fighting a two-front war with rapidly diminishing supplies and solders, facing enemies with an endless supply chain (the US being by far the main warehouse).
