[Hot Tabasco]

There is a young couple with little children living next door to me. Last week the mother came to me to get some salt because she was baking cookies and all she had was garlic salt. This was the second time in the past three months.

My question is, out of courtesy, should she have brought me some cookies when they were done?

She didn't, and it kind of ticked me off.......

Maybe she was raised in foster care? People don’t have the manners that they used to. Maybe she isn’t good at making new friends and doesn’t know how? Maybe she hasn’t met anyone in her ‘new’ town? Take them some tomatoes later this season. Go out of your way to be helpful. Can’t hurt, might help...you get some cookies! ;)
