Oh good cow. It had nothing to with Z’s attire and everything to do with Z’s coked-up arrogance, repeated rude behavior, intransigence, cocky attitude and all-around boorishness.
At one point, Trump actually defended Z from a reporter’s criticism of Z’s wardrobe choice and said he liked the way Z was dressed.
Ridiculous.

Zelenski f'ed up by not using a formal interpreter. Even though he can speak English, he's not totally fluent at the intricacies of the language. This is why world leaders use interpreters for such critical, high-level meetings.
Even Putin, who speaks English much more fluently than Zelinski does, would never have attended such a meeting with a U.S. President without speaking in Russian and using an interpreter.

I agree. Zelensky doesn’t seem to see that. He came to the White House with an attitude of entitlement and a desire to renegotiate everything. Not smart to come to your benefactor with demands and implied threats.
