Zelensky may be in greater danger from his own people than from anything Putin may do.
Look for a coup in Kyiv, with the provisional government suing for a ceasefire with Russia.

Z showed his entire hand in that exchange. And then tried to us Russia as a threat against the United States.
Now we see who Zelensky really is and him going back to Ukraine with his tail between his legs.

I do t think so. The timestamp you cite Mr z makes a lame attempt at a metaphor and I think his poor command of English set off an already frustrated POTUS.
This guy’s an ignorant, overconfident dumbass. It looked to me like an excellent example of Dunning-Kruger effect. He should stick with his interpreter, especially in negotiations which dictate both his and Ukraine’s future.

I heard one of the Fox talking heads say how this contrasts with Zalensky's meeting of European leaders last week. It was a cozy meeting.
I wonder how much those leaders got Zalensky pumped to split the European deep states away from the US. Could be retaliation for tariffs. Could be retaliation for calling NATO weak. Could be many things. But it certainly laid the ground work for Zalensky to get a deal(s) with Europe and cut the US out.
NBC news had broken in to the regular programming to show this exchange, then proceeded to indicate that Zelenskyy is just so tired of being under attack by Russia, and suggesting that Trump was being mean again.
Zelensky is in way over his capacity. He is nothing but a grifter and former comedian who was installed by obama and hillary via a color revolution. He is now flailing and desperate but trying to cover it with “bold” behavior. Today he failing miserably. He knows his days are numbered.

Yes, it was a threat. The same one used by the warmongers who trapped us in Viet Nam. The old, “stop it here or you’ll be next!”. So glad we headed that lie off immediately. My guess is Putin was smiling through the whole exchange ... For many reasons. And a sweatshirt? In a televised Oval Office meeting? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Z is an idiot. How disrespectful can you be?
I’m no fan of this post turtle Zelenskyy, but it sounded like he was saying that eventually Russia would swallow up Ukraine and move on to the next victim, which eventually would be the US. From his perspective that’s not too incredible. From ours, it’s ridiculous.
Hitler got this, he got that, the opposition conceded something else in 1938... Standard practice, really, throughout history — pre-atomic history. Europeans fear a replay.
However, we’re now in the nuclear era. Also, Russia isn’t Nazi Germany. They’re already in bad shape, or they wouldn’t have made a desperate grab for a chunk of Ukraine.
Don’t know how Zelenskyy got the job he has, but he needs to retire. Find someone who can talk to Trump AND Putin.
Nobody’s happier than Putin right now, because Z put his foot in his mouth and Pres. Trump just made him swallow it. Z is completely and publicly discredited.
He should go home and stay away from windows and lamp posts.

We must pray that Zelinsky comes to his senses; apologizes to President Trump and that the talks resume.... possibly at Camp David over the weekend.
