It’s just a constant moving of the standard to keep us re-qualifying as not being racist. It’s ridiculous.
once in the early 90’s I used the phrase “black”, and a white woman I worked with said they prefer “afro-american”. The comedic part is that that very week I read an article in either Newsweek or Time magazine where the gist was that they polled black people about their preferred label and overwhelmingly they preferred “black”.
That was my first experience with a confused white liberal.
I recall one morning in San Diego when the news announced that whites were no longer the majority in California. There was immediate concern that the term "minority" was no longer synonymous with "not white". The lefty radio hosts couldn't grasp the consequences. How would laws have to be re-written to continue discrimination against whites and preferences for non-whites? Their bias was crystal clear.
