Dad had just started his last semester in college, about this time of year, draft notice, he goes down and volunteers for the Navy (grandpas service) they say no need to pack you are going to San Diego for boot camp. Takes the bus to Dallas, gets on a plane, door opens up snow blowing, its boot camp at Great Lakes in Febuary.
