I’m not excusing the massive criminal behavior. Nobody would be happier than I to see all of them die, either in jail or resisting arrest.
But the treason charge would be almost impossible to prove. It requires a confession or 2 eye witnesses to the same overt act. Good luck with that. There are easier ways to achieve the same purpose.
