Hanks did an AMAZING job in, “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” where he played Mr. Rogers. You really thought he was Mr. Rogers, and the movie had a good message.
Sure seems like he has lost his moral compass, but then not many Hollywood types have one. Now I wonder whatever possessed him to be involved in those two shows.
Most people who are old enough to remember him from Boson Buddies have already decided about Tom. Just another formerly funny actor from TV, who is now trying to look ‘important’ . Think Sally Struthers and her TV husband,

It was a great disappointment to me, because I was thankful he showed our US Military in a positive and competent light. That didn’t always happen in a Hollywood that gave us the likes of “The Deer Hunter” and “Platoon”.

In Saving Private Ryan Hanks was,by far,the weakest character. I guess that goes with his being one of the weakest individuals in showbiz.

Forest Gump may have had technical accuracy in some areas, but overall it was an anti-war flick. The movie was my first clue this guy is a class A leftist. The older he gets, the more he proves it.
